Request new username
Hi there,
I saw this script on TheStudentRoom.co.uk: http://img471.imageshack.us/img471/8871/usercpsv7.png Would it be possible if someone could re-create a script like this for my forum, with a page on AdminCP displaying all the latest username requests. This would be absolutely fantastic, and I might be able to sort out a small donation over Paypal for anyone that would be willing to help me with this small task. Thanks a lot, Adam |
This is a brilliant idea!

Full credit to "pig" on the TheStudentRoom.co.uk for creating it :P |
You'll need to ask permission from the author for remodify.

I asked him on TSR, and he said that he didn't currently have the time to reproduce it. He told me to look here for similar things, so I'm just wondering if someone could create something similar.

Are you running the lastest vBulletin?

Why? |
I might give it a try to make it capable for your version (if my friend still has his 3.6.x and running or if he remembers me).
|
Alright thanks :)
|
So what version are you running? You haven't responded and where is the link to this existence modification too.

This is in existence currently on www.thestudentroom.co.uk > User CP > Request New Username. Thanks for your help :) |
I've almost got a completely working set. I'll release it here, so you don't have to pay. Just got to get the ACP done. You don't want it to perform the changes right? Right now it's just going to have a list.
Sooner or later I'll advance it to change the username and stuff. |

I plan a basic release - than I'll add things like that. Suggestions are always welcome... Right now It's just a "request" where it is added to a database (which I think I'm going to improve upon before releasing) and the administrator has a list and says "remove", which I'm going to set up with a "Rejected" PM message in the next version... I should finish it today.
