Disperse it (Dit) Video Streaming (Like YouTube)
 

Download:
1. Product Dit v2 (Added option to add video major fields not limited to posts.)
2. Unzip it.

Installation:
1. Login to Admin CP
2. Click on Plugins & Products
3. Click on Manage Products
4. Click on Add/Import Products
5. Click on Browse
6. Browse to the folder where you unziped Product Dit
7. Click on Import

Usage:
1. Go to www.disperseit.com
2. Upload your video
3. Use the BBCode it gives you and put that in your post. Currently the BBCode will work only in the post. The next version should include all sections of the forum.

With Disperse it (Dit) all the information is anonymous and you don't have to worry about corporate rules and politics. It's faster in terms of conversion of the video because we use quad core to convert each video on the fly without degrading the quality of the video for web streaming. Since Dit is setup on 1Gbps so you always stream at unrealistic speeds!

With Dit plugin you can use BBCode [video=...] to embed a flash video player within your forums. All you do is upload the video on www.disperseit.com and it converts all formats to flash and gives you the BBCode to use and you use that in your post and it produces something like this:

Ok so there is no need to wrap the link in a code? I dont see anything add'ed to the BB codes on my forum?

One problem though. What if I wanna use this in my member profiles, etc? Can you give some steps on how to setup a "normal" bbcode for me to use to wrap around the url for use inside my member profile?

Currently, if I post the url of the video, it just shows a url and nothing else.

What I did was add it to the custom bbcode's this way, but it didn't work:

Well Kihon_Kata the problem is that the way the plugin works is that it takes the height and width of the flash player from the URL so you cannot use the custom BB Code way. But I will update the plugin and make it so it hooks onto every location instead of just in the posts.

This is not true ... The code specifically looks for disperseit video tags and all other video tags should continue to function as they were designed.

Sorry Kihon Kata I haven't had a chance to update the code yet but I should be able to do it in the next couple hours so check back soon, sorry for any inconveniences this may have caused you.

Hmm I am not sure why it did not work for you, our test boards are running 3.6.5 so I know that it functions with that version but I will go ahead and upgrade one of them to 3.6.7 and try to figure out if it works, in the mean time can someone else who has installed it verify if this does or does not work with version 3.6.7PL1. If in fact this does not work for 3.6.7 then I will create one that does.

It works perfectly fine on 3.6.7PL1, I upgraded my board the other day and just installed this. I cant wait for the update, nice mod ^_^

Yes the new version has been uploaded and it works with everything. It ended up being a lot harder than I expected but it does work now. Test it and let me know if it works.

Hmm I installed 3.6.7PL1 and then installed the Anonymizer hack and also my hack and it still worked are you sure that these were the only two you had installed?
