Social Book Marks manager
 

This addon will work with all versions of vbulletin.

Most people will already know about this but I have added it to the vbulletin posts section for added visits and hits Ive used them to bring in hundreds of visiters over the past few days.

for an example go to my site http://www.websiteforumz.com/showthr...=2871#post2871 just under neath the Msn, Yahoo and Skype Icons there is a bookmark button.

To enter the botton There is just one code to add.

Go to edit templates --------> postbit templates -------> post bit -----> find [skypeicon] and after the </div> tag enter

then save I had loads of those social book marks buttons on my site but made everything look cluterd this makes it look better and easier for you users to use.

There is now a dropdown version of this button which adds abit more to the site and is also easyier for people to use.

I just came across the very same thing last night using Stumble and was prepared to post it today and look what we have here....lol Good work I'm going to post it with some different directions and other spots to place it.

Does clicking on 'bookmark' only bookmark a specific post within a thread, or does it bookmark the entire thread from the the first post in the thread?

it bookmarks wherever the browser's location is. like whatever it says in the address bar.

Two questions...

- Just so I'm clear...if someone is viewing post #2 in a thread and clicks the bookmark in THAT post (eg: http://www.websiteforumz.com/showthr...=2871#post2871 ). the bookmark is set ONLY to that location. correct? If the link shows up in Digg or another site, the same is true, correct? (the visitor would be taken to post #2 - not the beginning of the thread here: http://www.websiteforumz.com/showthread.php?p=2871)

- Does this mod 'play well' with vBseo? I'd like to turn their bookmarking feature OFF, and use yours instead. this is much neater. :up:

It will book mark the thread which also gives the title.

I also put in a bookmarker on the homepage for people to bookmark you on ie, msn and yahoo www.websiteforumz.com

This addon has been updated there are now two version of this button for all your book mark needs.

I now use the old style postbit the steps still work for anyone with newer style on. The bemo of the new button works but its not in the same place on the thread.

how do I add this to the top center of all my pages (typically where people place ads at the top of their page, below the main menu bar)? I don't know which template to look for to edit or where in a template to add the script.
