Description: [hr]value[/hr]
This Hack will but your vb Forum stats (i.e. No. of Members, Threads and Posts) on your Signature Image. It uses the layout from sig.jpg, calls the stats from your database and creates a new images called signature.jpg

Installation Instructions: [hr]value[/hr]
First off to customize this you will need to be a coder... Else all you can do is mess with the background image (sig.jpg)

Upload the files that are in the Upload folder.
Chmod 777 the two jpg files (sig.jpg and signature.jpg)
Install the product

If you like then [Mark As Installed]

there are no vbsettings right now its as is. You can modify the signature.php but this was re-released because mr chad had a few PMs and he said i could re-release it. But if theres enough interest in it i could see what i could do with it.

sig.jpg is the template image
signature.jpg is the result image

its in a 10 min scheduled task.

So we just upload signature.jpg as our sig pic then, and that's it?

How easy would it be to import other VB information in to the graphic, such as Username and/or even better, a custom field ?

That would be neat, but would create more queries that need to load on each page that contains your signature. I'd stay away from it unless your forums are really fast. Now if someone could figure out a way to do it without adding queries...

what image are you trying to use?

I think you can reduce the compression take a look at the signature.php

ok cool got it working for the default included image...but now how did people make custom ones so that the font/size/color of the stats changed and fit where you wanted it to? .... assuming we want to make a signature jpg image of a different size (larger)

I have a running 3.6.7 PL1 and get a SQL-Query error on cronscript signature.php:

Edit: Now it does work... strange. Could it be possible that you put things on there that people will actually care about?

Such as, forum username, your amount of posts, your amount of threads? Instead of the whole forum's amount of posts and threads etc.

vB 3.6.5 - 3.6.7

works just fine.

You have to tweak the php file to locate and format the numbers to match your design.

HOWEVER...
the method used to calculate forums stats is NOT THE SAME as the method used on index.php. So your numbers may vary, as they say.

REQUESTS:
1 - Any chance that you can officially support the vB stat method so there's not a discrepency?

2 - Any chance you can support multiple graphic targets from a single plug-in? As it is, I have to duplicate/tweak the sisStats plug-in for each new one I want to create.
