Paid Subscription as Gift?
 

Hey All,

After lots of searching, I have only be able to find one instance of a mod that allows members to buy other members paid subscription - something I am really surprised is not built in. However this Mod, which was for 3.5 is now in the mod graveyard and is not available - even though it seemed to work fine on 3.6+ (anyone know why it was suddenly killed like that?)

Anyway - this is something that would be extremely useful to be able to offer, rather than some clunky manual solution. I am amazed there arent a dozen mods to do this as it strikes me as something very common to want, especially for sites that have pay for access (ours is used as a form of donation with the 'thank you' rank, it doesnt lock posting or features)

Does anyone know of a way I can do this, or a Mod somewhere that will?

Yeah that's the one, but as I mentioned it has been removed - though I can't see why?

If anyone knows of a way I can do this I would be most grateful!

Hey how stinking hard could it be to make a mod that enable members to purchase a Paid Subscription for another member

Yeah, this would be a great mod. Another bump from an interested party.

I really could use this also.....I asked Darkwaltz4 if he was going to be integrating it with his vbCommerce he's making....He said he was looking into it....go the the vbCredits thread and request it for vbCommerce....or visit www.vbcredits.com and request it...the more the better.
