lol id like to take a peak at it too :D

kall 05-01-2007 07:24 PM

OMG!

That's nothing. Several people hare have 4.0.0 in that field.. I think I have even seen a 9.9.9. Hell, *someone* even had IPB versions in there.

The beauty of free-text fields, you can put whatever you want in them.

You don't have to show the actual version for real.... It's not in the TOS and it is probably only bug fixes when it is released ;)

DementedMindz 05-01-2007 07:32 PM

yeah I know you dont but thats the benefit of being a mod or admin pre releases

Yours Truly 05-01-2007 07:50 PM

I guess but like i said i'm sure its nothing great :)

DementedMindz 05-01-2007 07:52 PM

3.6.6 is nothing great your saying?

Yours Truly 05-01-2007 08:02 PM

Not in my eyes i use 3.5.8 :)

cyberphr 05-01-2007 08:05 PM

I bet he just put that there to showoff, since he gets to be up-to-date with everything vBulletin.

new releases usually isn't much different, usually only bug fixes and stuff, unless its like 3.7

HMBeaty 05-01-2007 08:51 PM

Maybe he put it there because it's accurate. ;)

I'm quite sure if you read the various threads at vbulletin.com you will know that vb.org and vb.com staff have been beta testing the new project tools for a while now, and vb 3.6.6 is a requirement for that to happen. It's as simple as that.

Nope, also not for 3.6.1-5

That's not to say that a retroactive port of some kind wont be released by someone, somewhere, sometime, but for now, it's 3.6.6 or nothing.

Yours Truly 05-02-2007 10:55 AM

Just as well i don't need em then :D What about the blog etc.. that need 3.6.6 do we know yet?

kall 05-03-2007 04:11 AM

Honestly, I have no idea.
