For some reason I had to import the product TWICE before it appeared. I had the original version on a test forum without having to import twice. So I tested it again and same thing have to import twice second time with overwrite in order for it to appear in the admin CP and yes I logged out and back in.
But all is working fine now thanks. |

Is it possible to add an additional sort function.
All vB default things on top and sorted from a to z and then all products under it from a to z. Can you add this? |

I just experienced the same thing. Installed it again, allowing overwrite, and it showed up for me. Previously, it didn't. |
Great mod idea, ever think of doing one for the side navigation too? or at least one that would let you edit the order of apperance?

this ruined my admincp. first listed in alphabetic now some options are lost. admins please stop this plugin.
|
What options?
|
option.php !
|
Can you elaborate?
|
first installed. nothing changed.
After some days this plungs starts to work, it listed in alphabetical. I was suprised Now its my 2nd login after "worked" and now I miss some links like vb ad management. I thinks this plugin have destroyed the options list, now I uninstalled. But is doesnt help!! I dont why but I AM SURE thats the plugin caused this problem... We will see more peaople who have this problem or I am stupid. |
I can't reproduce your problem as I've tried every option available for sorting and I log in and out everyday. And I've tried installing and uninstalling and installing a few times. So I'm not sure HOW you came about this problem.
|
then where is my vb ad management system config links in the options?
I didnt install any plugins before. And I get i lost right after cpsettings worked... thats strange.. |

Its to dangerous for me, now I looking for the ad management config links. I will give only vb Admins an account. Sorry but this plugin is dead for me. And I had this problem and some other people will have it too or I am stupid an my vbulletin is totally corrupted.
|
Well, either way, thats fine for me. I really don't care if you install or not. I DO know that I can't fix your problem without being able to reproduce it.
|
Just FYI, I have vb ad management installed and EVERYTHING is still there.

I would try Re-installing it allowing overwrite then log out of your admin cp and back in let us know what happens. If all else fails I would hope you have a backup you could use in order to repair your site. VBulletin 101 ALWAYS BACK UP BEFORE MAKING ANY CHANGES I do not understand why you would not allow someone who offers to fix your stuff for free temp access. That would allow Redline to solve this issue for you and make any needed changes for future users. Redline I also second that suggestion about being able to have the Default VB options listed Alph. Then under that have the Addons listed in Alph. That would be awesome. |
Thank you rjmjr69, that just confirmed that. :)

It just YOU no one else has this issue. I have two test boards and have gone thru the install 10 times now and I cant replicate your error or problem either. Only one issues I have seen with this is having to overwrite it sometimes. I suggest you let someone who knows what they are doing to take a look at it. And please relax when you take it upon yourself to edit VB you also take the RISK associated with it. The author is MORE than willing to help you out but your denying him that option so your on your own. Keep your negative remarks to yourself as well. Please. |
Hey what's the difference between 2.0 and 2.1 version.. i don't see anywhere history notes...
BTW.. it works great.. Suggestion: Expand this plugin/hack so you can also sort left side of the CPannel.. not just the Vbulletin Options.. :) |
Unfortunately, I have encountered an error with this modification. Whenever I goto any of my options, the side bar consisting of the whole management of the admin cp is removed. More can be found here. I tried just removing the files and the xml but it still occurred, Im still looking through this issue to see if this was truly the source of the error that I am having.
|
man i was looking so forward to this mod...but now reading all the fights, it got me a lil scared in case things mess up :(
|
Suggestion to users that are having problems:
Reupload your xml's from any lost modifications or the vBulletin default xml if you are having errors with the side bar or missing options. If it says file not found, upload the whole folder, /admincp/ from your vBulletin download. @OP: Nice hack, I truely don't need this seeing as I am removing and adding my own ACP features while removing the vBulletin default things, but when I get my new owned license I will install this. :) |
