Quick New Thread (collapsable)
This hack allows your users to create threads right from the forumdisplay page. This will save them time and you some bandwith. This hack is also not like the others where you see it all the time. You click a link and it shows the form then so you can keep your page free of clutter.
Quick thread image not included if somebody would be kind enough to make one I would be grateful. Whats planned? Wysiwyg ajax This hack is something I whipped up almost a year ago and just went thro and cleaned up and retested and decided to release so enjoy it. I plan to make the whole hack ajax based in the end hopefully. |
Sorry about that forgot to submit the attachments. They are there now. :)
To install just load in the product and make the 5 template changes. |
brilliant idea.
waiting for more updates on this. |

how about only specific usergroups can use quick threads?
|
When I click the quick thread thing, it loads the quick thread box thing, but then goes to the index page after about 2 seconds..Why?
|
fixed

this mod doesn't work. I tested both on a remote host and localhost, from this skin to another but fail. Please check it!
|
I'm confused... Was the original mod for this deleted or something? This was "released" yesterday... but I've had this mod for months.
...... Oh, I see. This mod already exists, and honestly, I prefer the original. It expands out from where ever you click it. The original doesn't have AJAX either though. What I do like is that I can create a thread, click back, and it's still open with everything filled out, so it's really amazing for a lot of repetitive threads.. like TV episode lists, for example. However, I will thoroughly support this mod when it does get around to using AJAX. :) |
Anyone got a forum with this installed on, I'd like to take a look at a demo. Thanks :)
