Wow excellent. Only its not visits as such but hits. Seems to work very well as a hit counter though. Excellent. INSTALLED.

One addition you may consider is a small admin section to put in starting hits ? So for forums already running they can put in their current hits and start from that.

Thank you. I will try to be better it in next version. But i think for start it's not bad for myself.

Note: If your board starts from a long time and you can guess visits, you may to set it on vBulletin Options -> Visit Statistics -> Total Visits

Thank you for your selectivity ;)
I will try to add more options in next version of modification.

- But version 1.0 has some options in vBulletin Options menu, too. Such as enable or disable modification, show or hide and ...

If your site is http://www.steadiforum.com I can't see any problem on it! And it's work very well.

Yep that's the one (I made a small change to the icon so it fitted in with the rest - as I have two light and one dark style) - it's showing the Most Day as Monday (yesterday) - surely it should say Tuesday 17th (today) .... just wasn't sure if this was because it had just been installed.

Thanks :)

I think your server time is incorrect, because if you see this board it's set to Tuesday as correct. http://www.mechodownload.com/forum/

steadicamop 04-17-2007 05:49 PM

Hmmmm stupid hosts, might just see if I can get that corrected - I know the date in VB is showing correct - it's just this particular reference to the date.

Not to worry, thanks for a great addition :)

I now registered in your forum and set the GMT to GMT +3.5 and see the statistics and there is no problem!

sunrise2006 04-17-2007 07:44 PM

If you will guess there is any problem on this modification please report it here to fix it.

steadicamop 04-17-2007 08:14 PM

I'm just confused - today is Tuesday, it showing the most day as Monday (yesterday) - when I installed it on Tuesday, just not sure why it shows 1 day behind - it's 24 hours out.

sunrise2006 04-18-2007 06:22 AM

When I logged in by my ID in your forum time will be shown as correct!

joeldaviddc 04-18-2007 09:10 AM

I have installed this mod, it seems to work fine but i have a problem with the "most day visits" phrase. My site is in spanish and the phrase do not display the correct date. It look like this:

El día con más visitas fue el l d F Y con ( i have translated the original phrase)

the original pharse was: Most day was %s with %s visits
translated phrase : El día con más visitas fue el %s con %s visitas

the result on index page: El día con más visitas fue el l d F Y con 10,838 visitas

In my forum the dates are well displayed.

How i can do , apart to disable this phrase from acp?

Now that's strange - this is what I get, every other date shows correct - could this have anything to do with Vista?

Jason

Hi Jason,
I find the problem, and now fix it. Goto vBuleltin admincp, then goto Plugin Manager and browse the edit area of Prepare Visist Statistics on FORUMHOME and find this:
PHP Code:

$mostdate_unixtimestamp mktime(000$mostdate_split[1], $mostdate_split[2], $mostdate_split[0]);

and replace with:
PHP Code:

$mostdate_unixtimestamp mktime(000$mostdate_split[1], $mostdate_split[2], $mostdate_split[0])+$vbulletin->options['hourdiff'];

Now save it and re browse the forum home.

steadicamop 04-18-2007 03:55 PM

Perfect! Thanks for figuring that one out - I would never have looked that deep into it to suss it out, is it something to do with British Summer Time (+1 hr)?

Cheers,

Jason

However this problem is very strange for me! But anyhow you can hide this message from vBulletin Options -> Visit Statistics -> Show Most Day and set to 'No'

It's simple date format and using the vbdate to show and I think you must search in your Spanish translation for day of weeks.
However new version is toward and released soon. Maybe your problem will be solved with new version.

vspro 04-19-2007 10:24 AM

Today: 16, Yesterday: 0, Total: 14
Most day was Thursday 19 April 2007 with 16 visits
