Hi,

I almost ready to launch my new website FaqPal.com.

The main site is almost complete, a few minor tweaks. I installed vB and a free skin added a couple of mods, but I am not happy with the look of the forums at all.

Can you please take a look and give your recommendations? Excuse all the zeros on the board as we haven't officially opened yet.

=/ You should make the word FAQ in capitals, i can swear this thread was called FagPal, no joke, i thought it was FagPal because of the font and underline :(

Same here, I was wondering what FagPal was all about. :P FAQPal seems like the way to go.

This applies to the logo as well. FAQ is supposed to be all capitals anyways.

Any ideas how to integrate it so my users can login and post articles, like I say, my main site and the forums use the same database already.

You should use pre-intergrated software such as a CMS, vBA CMPS is a good one. Dont use SubDreamer but, i hate that software... way to many problems and it cost money!

I can't find a cms with vb bridge built-in that will let me allow members to post articles, comment on them, access to the forum with one login, and I don't want to spend a fortune on it after all the work that went into what I currently have.

Fagpal, ahaha. I like the look though, is it a premade skin?

no, custom, its actually suppose to be FAQPal, need to change the graphic.

Well it looks like FAGPal, you may wana change it to capitals my friend before your guests get the wrong vibe and ask for a pink skin :)

No other recommendations aside from the logo text? Maybe we are on the right track.

I really hate it! So many issues with it, also its only good for one thing and thats news. I mean geez, if you want a news thing for your forums just use vBA CMPS! :D

I suppose if you keep it the the other way, you will have a rise in members who are curious lol
