Please help! :(
I am having problems with my page addresses showing?
All i get is http:mysite/forum on all pages, even on all threads. Please help as this is driving me crazy  -Thanks- |
on what site?!... the one you have in your profile looks ok to me... ?!
btw, too much stuff on your front page, the site is not even fully loaded after 25 seconds... |
No idea what you mean, though I would advise that a title of "Please help" isn't a very descriptive way of getting your point across.

@Hazel77 - My URL for the site does not change for each page or thread, it just shows the main projectgamez.co.uk/forum on all pages. This means i cant linkback to pages or anything Sorry about the description, didnt know how to explain it in the title, lol |
oh, i see your "bug" ... it is not a bug... it is your server that do that... i don't remember the damn trick, but it is just that your server display always the same url, even if you change page...
it have to do with a setting in your CPanel, not vBulletin... the problem is not that you always have the same url, it is the location in the adress bar of your browser that never change.... SOMEONE ?! |
Thanks there :)
Please anybody else, i sort of know, but cant find where it is, what option i need to do. :( |
The site does take a while to load. I see what your problem is (very weird!) and I would guess you need to do something to either your .htaccess file or your httpd.conf file, but I am not that knowledgeable about exactly what you need to do.

Your forum is being loaded in an iframe which is why the URL remains the same throughout.
You're not using your registrar's forwarding option in combination with URL cloaking by any chance? If so, turn off URL cloaking. |
I have these settings
No web-forwarding If you select this option anyone typing projectgamez.co.uk into a web browser will be shown the 123-Reg default page. Framed web-forwarding to a single page If you select web-forwarding to a single page the destination URL can have a specific filename on the end (e.g. index.htm). It could just point to a directory (URL ends with /) in which case the files displayed would depend on the webserver 'directory index' settings. The destination URL will be replaced by projectgamez.co.uk. Non-framed web-forwarding to a single page This option is the same as above however the destination URL will always be displayed in the address bar of the browser. Framed web-forwarding The destination URL will be replaced by projectgamez.co.uk Non-framed web-forwarding The destination URL will remain in the browser's address bar. I am using: Framed web-forwarding to a single page Which one would you recommend  Thanks for info so far :) |
Using Non-framed web-forwarding to a single page will do the trick ;)
