Hey, guys, why don't you use the old Dark Project Studio's set of Smilies [Download]?
Whitout offence, Jelsoft staff, but the vBulletin ones.. they are terrible!

you can choose the smilies packs of your choice for your own site, so why bother to request these changes here... ???

If they was going to change them they wouldn't change them to that kind of smilie. Maybe one thats the same but in different colors to match the skin maybe? Idk

i personally think that the actual smilies here are good.. for one reason: they are not overused... as nobody love them, they are not spammed all around like on a lot of forums i see...

vBulletin.org is a official vBulletin site so it should use official vBulletin smilies :)

Well not really, little else about the default vBulletin look is used.

Why do the vBulletin default smilies (I mean the ones that install with vBulletin) and post/thread status icons suck so bad? We have plenty of talented artists. I mean, they really, really suck. It's not just a matter of taste - they have pixels bleeding all over the place...

Huh? I'm quite sure that the buttons for new topics/posts, post icons, forum icons and many of those images are certainly default, as they match the ones you get from vBulletin.com

Not sure of that myself personally, but I am also wanting to know that. However, I don't agree with the huge amounts of people who boast how good the Invision smilies are, as they looked just as boring to me as the default vBulletin smilies, default phpBB smilies, etc.

I like the default vB smiles ones.

I think Invision's are nice - better than vB, IMO.
