Any benefits in upgrading to this 3.6.5 version ?
I'm running vbulletin 3.6.4 and installed the award system for 3.5.X a few months ago and had no problems. |

beside some minor modification, there're few other changes: - [2.1.3] Add a link "Give award to user" in admincp menu and change some link name. - [2.1.3] Notify awarded user by email option - Change "Issue reason" from input to textarea, so you can give more descriptive reason when giving award(s). - Allow user to issue/remove awards in In ModCP (I myself dont like this, but it has been requested). Remember, no permission check in there yet, so anyone who can access ModCP can use it) If you use the old one (2.1.2) without problem, you dont really need to upgrade. |
Hello. i will upload a PSD with many award medals i did for another portal
I will do it as soon i get home Cheers |
Thank you! Ive been waiting for this!!
|
Hello all
Sharing my PSD here for you to play with. the psd file is sliced so if you make changes you can easy "save optimized as" and they are splitted and named ..... Hope you guys liked them enjoy ... Regards Krister |

can be found here. www.rarsoft.com Sorry for the extra work |
I've just installed and I got this from showthread
PHP Code:
|
in db, the column is named awardid instead of award_id
strike that, I was looking at wrong column. But I still have error. I am on mysql 5.0.22 and php 5.16 |
Installed and looks great.. I have a question how can I post the awards to show up under the members name in the postbit/postbit_legacy

This is getting juicy for me My award_user table is way different from your product
|
I solved my issue by fixing the table. I have no idea where that came from. Was empty anyway.
|
Great work, mtha! Tanks. ;)
|
mtha , the file is corrupted ??
|
Found the culprit! The Nova Awards was using that table. Lucky for me this is a very simple mod, so I just made a new table for it and changed the handful of instances where they were referring to it
|
upgraded find from previous version but still have same problem that i had before (Thought it was to do with using wrong version for my vb)
when i click request award this text appears at the top of the page Code:
Warning: array_merge() [function.array-merge]: Argument #1 is not an array in /home/pottypet/public_html/forum/includes/vba_cmps_include_template.php on line 27 any ideas? |

dont know for sure but i would guess you need to paste the code for the postbit/postbit legacy somwhere close to under $post[musername] (maybe after the if command)
|
I'm currently using your 3.5 version on my 3.6.5 vbulletin. How easy would it be to upgrade this to the new version without uninstalling the old one?
I'd like to keep it up-to-date incase of any future upgrades to this system. I had to make a few template changes to get your 3.5 version to work with my current style so would hate to have to uninstall and reinstall the new version. Thanks for all the effort you have put into this, it's much appreciated. |
i recently updated mine by just uploading all files again and installing the xml file in overright mode..
it seems to be working fine |
Here is only the pic files for them who not know about photoshop and just need pics....
i Will do a new set with different looks and bigger in size. post a screenshot later Cheers ... |
Thanks mate, cool mod
|

All my current medals are 25x60, so as long as I can resize around that then they'll be great. |

Great mod but I have one problem... The award description is limited in length and there isnt enough space for me to make a proper description for certain awards.
Is there a way to lengthen this? |
