She had a TON of releases :|

Lizard King 03-11-2007 03:45 PM

She is not also listed as moderator anymore.

Marco van Herwaarden 03-11-2007 04:01 PM

She stepped back as vB.org Staff member as she couldn't find enough time anymore.

Ziki 03-11-2007 04:27 PM

I can take her place :p

This is too bad for us, I wish her the best!

Is she still vB.com Support Staff? I fail to see why she had to remove all her modifications just because she couldn't find time to support them; that's no reason to get rid of them all.

Yes, Kerry-Anne is still vBulletin.com Support Staff.

The removal of her modifications was her call.

nexialys 03-11-2007 06:45 PM

as for anyother coder here, i suppose you can contact her and ask if you can handle the re-release of her codes... if you are gentle and bring wine and flowers, i suppose she will consider... LOL

Nobody can take her place:rolleyes::) We want you back Kerry:)

I stepped down partly because of time, and partly because of some personal reasons.

As for my modifications, they have been removed partly due to personal reasons and partly due to some bugs which I have not been able to dedicate some time to fixing and the fact that support for all of them had completely stopped. Whether or not they return in the future is still undecided. However, I will not be giving permission for anyone else to release them.

I will still be popping in from time to time, but won't be particularly active, especially in the near future.

Personally I think it sucks. "Here have this for free..." ... "No actually, I'm taking it back".

I appreciate you may not have the time to support them - you could mark them as unsupported. For a member of 'vB support' and former 'vB.org support' it doesn't seem very supporting of you to leave those who have installed in the lurch.

peterska2 03-12-2007 08:43 PM

Actually, I've been doing a number of code reviews because of the lack of time available to support them. A large number are now back, although all are now unsupported (I'm going through marking any that still supported as thus in a min or two). The rest are still on my review pile.

If in doubt: https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/member.php?u=43427

Kerry, I was only going on what I had read here. That does indeed sound a lot more reasonable. The impression I got was different to the reality.

I eat humble pie.

Shazz 03-12-2007 08:59 PM

There back :)

That's quite OK. To be honest, I've got through them a lot quicker than I expected to this stage. I'm a bit of a perfectionist, and if something isn't working right I'd rather not have it at all than have lot of people requiring support that I simply don't have enough hours in the day to provide, and then have people upset about the lack of support being received.
