Buddy List on User CP
This hack will show a user's buddy list on their User CP home page.
All instructions are in the zip file. See below for screenshots. ;) |
Looks out of place IMO

Thanks...

I've found out about this trick as well, but am wondering how to make it work on all user cp pages... currently usercp_nav_start gives error.
|
id like for the buddy list to appear on the right side of the screen.. so the subscribed threads etc are all sandwiched between the menu on the left and the buddy list on the right...
cant figure it out :\ nevermind guys, got it! great! really.. i think it looks way better this way. |
/me uninstalls vb3.7.0 covers these bases
|
It would be great below the latest horizontal table; sure, it has to be horizontal too. :p
If you will do it I will install it, becouse I'm modding hard my style right now. LOL |
I will be releasing a new, much-improved version of this hack (including a port to 3.7.x) in June. :)
And I will take your suggestion into consideration, Triky. ;) |
Oh, remember to release it also for vB 3.6.x! I'm using this version! LOL
Anyway, thanks! :) |
I'm trying to make the Online/Offline options collapsible. Anyone know where I can find where the code is written for $onlineusers and $offlineusers so I can put an id parameter in the table data tag?
|
Hmmm.. I tried just wrapping the variables in <tr> and <td> tags and adding the id parameter to those.. still didn't work.
What am I doing wrong? Code:
<tr> |
Nevermind, I figured out how to do it.
|
Hmmm, I hate to complain as this is exactly what I've been looking for, but is there any way to only make it show up in the usercp instead of also showing up in edit profile, edit signature etc?
(It doesn't seem to work correctly on those pages anyway) |
Ok, figured that out too. Just add the code to template usercp instead of usercp_shell.
|
Since I seem to be figuring out everything after I post it, lol.... anyone figure out how to make usernames in the the buddylist clickable (so that it takes you to the user's profile when you click their name)?
