Let your users know what browser to use whilst browsing your site. Mod released by me.
All info on how to implement is included in the zip file . It Has info on how to add only one immage at a time , or all three at once. Screenshot: (I made mine for all three) http://anywares.info/ImgHost/images/1710screen.JPG If you like it, click install :):D :D UPDATE!: Now by clicking on the immmage (eg Firefox/MB/IE the user will be taken to a download page for the selected browser) |
Nice touch, perhaps you could make all the images linkable to download such browsers, I have already done mine for FF :)
|
Very well.......thread updated :D
|
Maybe have a counter statistic number next to the image, showing how many people are using that specific browser? Just a suggestion.
|
MayB once my php skills have grown ;]
|
Its beter to use link to sites and not direct download link because if someone wont different language must download again from the site.

hmm im going to have to think about this one...Dont get me wrong, its indeed nice...Just not sure if its going to flow with what i have going on at the moment...Maybe ill install it in a test style and see what i can do with it...A few questions for you.
1 - Is it possibly to change the colors of it to go with my style? I just started with VB last week, so be easy on me lol 2 - Is this a standard size or is there a way to make it a tab bit smaller? just to show you what i got going on and the colors heres my forum..Just started it a few days ago and still tryin to set it up...I have yet to put anything on the bottom... http://www.obsession2speed.com/forum...php?styleid=19 |

j00 n00b ur s0 anoying!  roflmfao joking ofcourse man ;) Awnser 1: The colors change automaticaly. if you were to use a dark skin, it would change the colors to the same as the skin Awnser 2: Yes but then the buttons wouldnt properly fit. If you DO wish to change it, in the code find: HTML Code:
<table class="tborder" cellpadding="2" cellspacing="1" border="0" width="200" height="50" style="margin:10px 0" aling="center"> HTML Code:
width="200" FOR INSTANCE: i used the EXACT same codes in another style, and look how it addapts http://www.mega-codez.info/test/forum.php?styleid=2 |
ok one last questions...are the images included with the zip file? Is it possible for me to open the images in PS and resize them a lil smaller to fit into a smaller box?
hmmm maybe i should just download and play with it and try to learn for myself :D |
Images are included and editable(i guess :p) just remeber to edit the final code if your gonaa use new images ....
Hope to see u install it soon ;) |
the png images are not included with the zip file...There are only text files explaining how to add each one, along with a txt file to add all of them..No image files though...I guess i could use my own icons...Just wanted to throw that out there though.
the image url is pointed to your webspace...unless you want people using your images and taking your bandwidth you might want to get ride of that code in there and replace it with something like IMAGE URL HERE or something of that nature and include the actual png image files for people to install in their own image folder. |
Lol i have an immage hosting site on my webspace so thats nthin big ;)
as for the immages, ill upload them now :D |

I believe what rmxs meant in post #6 was to provide a link to mozilla rather than a link directly to an Englih download.
For instance, if someone were in need of an Italian Firefox, the download link would resemble ....org?lang=it&product=firefox-2.0.0.2 Love it though - good work. |
If you like it, click install ;)
|
This is good, I like it!
