Due To Popular Demand........
Send PM/Email On Paid Subscription (LITE VER) :)

Description:
- This LITE version of Send PM/Email On Paid Subscription allows you to private message a paid subscriber, once they have paid and been redirected back to your site

Features: (Lite Version)
  • Standalone Hack

Features: (Premium Version Only)
  • Fully Customizable AdminCP Options
  • Ability To Turn On PM Alert
  • Ability To Turn On Email Alert
  • Option To PM CC (Carbon Copy) Another Admin or Mod
  • Ability To Enter Unlimited UserID's To PM CC
  • Ability To Change All PM Options Including (Sender, Subject, Body)
  • Fully Phrased For Your Convenience!

Installation:
1.) Edit XML, Set (fromuserid, fromusername, & title) Variables
2.) Upload Product
3.) You can edit sendpm_on_paid_subscription_alertpm phrase to change the body
3.) Enjoy Release

I think he's doing the right thing, afterall he doesn't have to offer any version for free.

Not bad

But: There should be a different Text configurable for different paid subscriptions.

From what I see here the same Text goes to all paid subscription Users.


Example:

Subscription1
Subscription2

Users which purchase Subscription1 should get a PM/EMAIL with TEXT1.
Users which purchase Subscription2 should get a PM/EMAIL with TEXT2.

(Subscription1 for example could be "purchase a key", this could be send via pm/email than)

If you get that to work, I will purchase the PRO version :)

Another great idea: For Paid Subscriptions you could create an option which gives the possibility to choose "One Time Payment" instead of the time range for a Subscription in the AdminCP. This would give your product a great Feature: One Time payments where Users receive only Informations in an Email :)
There isnt any Modification for this at the moment, I am sure many ppl will be intersted in that.

I used to get an email from persons paying for a sub via vbulletin, with this hack installed which is working i no longer receive these emails and im sure other notifications have stopped also as im sure im not getting the emails i used to get... anyways just thought i'd let you know... tis a great mod and certainly is well needed, thanx

oh and i think PM popup notifications, i believe i had a nice mod for that which shows a better PM popup...but i think it's now not working...i'll check into this, cheers

After installing this I attempted to manually add a new subscriber. I received the following error:

I tried this hack but it didn't work. I didn't get errors, but my new subscribers didn't get a PM either. I REALLY need this. I'd pay for the Premium version if I could get the Lite version to work.

Update: It's now working perfectly! I had inadvertently put an apostrophe in the title, which of course would cause a problem now that I see it. So if you're having problems like me, leave out all apostrophes and quotation marks.

I'll be buying the Premium version now. :)

Yeah but you won't receive the PM from Paypal anymore telling you a member bought a subscription... this is a known bug.

I'm waiting to find out if this is resolved and waiting for an update so that each subscription is customizable instead of it being universal.

I'm sure it wouldn't take much, and once its done, you will have not only me purchase it but it seems quite a fair few more!

I haven't received any bugs or errors, but when a member subscribes for a YEAR, it still says

I would like to see an option for admin to receive a PM or email when a users paid subscription is about to expire.

I would definitely buy if it did. (and if all bugs mentioned above were fixed)

If buy this too.. but only if it was 100% bug free .. even with just the lite features I would pay.. this is a very good hack..
