the time shows.... it looks good.. but.... the time is not live.. ie.. the seconds time is not moving... when i refresh.. it updates... so its more like a snapshot time versus... real time...

still, i like it...

In a future release can this be expanded to use the user's date rather than server time?

This "server side" time certainly has a use... it lets the user know the time/date of their last refresh, so they know if they are looking at a cached page or not. Certainly great for use on a mobile skin!



FWIW, the date and time are also available by default anywhere in vb as $datenow and $timenow (formatted as per your vb options). The year is also available as $copyrightyear.
