Are these Copyrighted?? If any are from Millan.Net be veryyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy careful, she does not allow her smilies to be used on message boards. I found out the hard way. I had to remove mine or my server company was gonna shut me down.

Haha, i would love to see her trying to take us all to court of a small 10x10 pixel image. I'm sure shes willing to spend the thousands of dollars to take each individual in there one by one.

What is the easiest and fastest way to install these, last time i tried, it was gonna take for ever. is there a better way yet?

Well you can upload them all to the folder then just select the folder, or you can upload a .tar.gz and extract it using your cPanel's FTP thingo then select the folder :)

She went right to my server company Aplus.Net. They were going to shut me down. I ended up apologizing to her because I questioned that some of the smilies didn't have her Copyright.

She got very very agitated with me. I had to remove all the ones she claimed were hers or Aplus was going to close me down.

I am looking for a new server company. They didn't help me at all in this matter.

From now on I make sure I get my smilies from artists that grant permission.


Also millan .Net supplies PHP Forum with all their Smilies in the smiley boxes.

I respect an artist's Copyright, but how do you really know who's is who's. Even the ones that didn't have her Copyright on she claimed was hers. Said the copyright was removed. How do you fight that when the server company threatens to shut you down too??

lol? I should get a hosting with the people that host g00nz and project black, +++++ scriptz, dgt etc and setup a smilies site and use all of her smilies, lets see who will win then..

But these smilies are all invision power board style smilies so she cannot copyright them as hers when IP made most of them and the base for all of them.

Why are you all on his back about copyright???? If someone complains, thats fine... but noone has so far said I MADE THESE DELETE THEM NOW! So i dont see the problem, why make one? These are awesome smilies and people deserve to be able to use them!

Obviously the packs are copyrighted to the author in question. If there's any doudbt that infringes an authors copyright and sets removed.

This is just one of many sets that are questionable.
