Hey guys,

Just wandering if and how i can use <a href="$userinfo[field39] in anyway. this is inside a template. or do i need to edit it somehow for it to work?

HMBeaty 02-06-2007 03:34 AM

No. What are you trying to do?

Murty 02-06-2007 04:33 AM

well in the custom field39, i have got embeded youtube code. but the way ive got it, this is what comes up:

Quote:

Not Found
The requested URL /forums/<object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/jyFZbf6n2As"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/jyFZbf6n2As" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object> was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Are you trying to add video to members profiles?

Murty 02-08-2007 09:12 AM

yeah, but im doing it slightly differently. All i need is for the '$userinfo[field39]' to be able to be used in an '<a href>' statement.

It looks like you're trying to embed the video in the page when all you need is the URL.

Please don't mislead the guy by sugegsting an iframe.

Using a DIV would be better....

Bt let's nto get into that discussion here.

First show me an example of what would be put into the "field39"
