im sure its not as popular as the youtube, google and myspace video link but it does its job for my requirements

TheBlackPoet 01-26-2007 01:14 PM

i got it to work, but it wont play...

it asked for an option... i put the whole url in... and then it pasted the

as you can see.. i put the whole url in the options... AND then i had to paste it a second time....

make sense????
installed

zincpony 02-09-2007 03:55 AM

i c the problem which is ur link that u've posted you arent giving a direct url to the actual file, the red needs to go. and it shouldnt be a problem.

[photob="http://s109.photobucket.com/albums/n75/lemuelsuriel/?action=view&current=Boondocks06-TheStoryofGangstaliciou.flv"]http://s109.photobucket.com/albums/n75/lemuelsuriel/?action=view&current=Boondocks06-TheStoryofGangstaliciou.flv[\photob]

it should be more like thats how i have it on my forum

[photob]http://s109.photobucket.com/albums/n75/lemuelsuriel/Boondocks06-TheStoryofGangstaliciou.flv[photob]

fishhub 02-19-2007 05:34 PM

eg=[photob]Boondocks06-TheStoryofGangstaliciou.flv[/photob]

is there a way to make it simplier by just doing the above?

how should we alter the replacement to fix the above eg?

zincpony 02-21-2007 05:30 PM

thats a little different because photobucket doesnt upload everything on one big folder. its user specific soo most of the file link would be required. ill play around with the code some mroe soo that maybe it can be made for a shorter direction but i can tell you it wont be as short as just the file name cause of the whole system they have.

dbirosel 02-28-2007 05:35 PM

Question: Before i install this, i was wondering if this will affect my bandwidth in any way? If so, how bad?

zincpony 03-01-2007 12:57 AM

not to my observation but soo far there hasnt been tons of videos from photobucket which have been car related videos have noticed anything huge on the daily bandwith monitor.

BadgerDog 03-23-2007 12:12 PM

No work in 3.6.4, no run the video. :(

rjmjr69 04-07-2007 02:03 AM

Using 3.6.4 and it works fine...

Make sure you remove from the PhotoBucket "string" URL, the "view" section as it causes the link not to work.

Badger

ICY ICE 05-20-2007 12:43 AM

Great job!

Is there a way to get the ?action=view&curren= removed or accepted automatically?

Installed :)

When you copy the photobucket video link it includes "?action=view&curren=" in the link.

When posted it wont play unless you manually delete "?action=view&curren=" from the link.

Is there a way to get the plug-in to see this and remove it automatically or ignore it?

Thanks

How shortly? lol I have members who just keep linking to PB videos, and I wish they could embed them easier.

captainron19 09-29-2007 01:22 PM

Have you fixed the problems noted? Also there is no gif image to download

captainron19 10-11-2007 03:52 PM

Nadeemjp 09-12-2008 12:04 AM

Could anyone please tell me how to manage photobucket clips withou having to delete the portion manually?

Gamelobby 09-12-2009 03:02 AM

I cant get this to work at all.. is it supposed to work with 3.8..?
Do the videos need to end with .PBW, or .SWF, or .FLV, or what..?

All i can get is a blank screen.
The viewer is there, but no video.?

joshg1 05-14-2010 05:29 PM
