CA Morpheus
Style name: CA Morpheus
Style version: 1.0.1 vBulletin version: 3.6.7 Style includes 5 color schemes: Demo (default): demo (ca_morpheus.zip) Demo (blue): demo (ca_morpheus_blue.zip) Demo (gray): demo (ca_morpheus_gray.zip) Demo (green): demo (ca_morpheus_green.zip) Demo (purple): demo (ca_morpheus_purple.zip) Notes: - This is a port of my old phpBB style to vBulletin. You can find phpBB version on phpBBStyles.com. - Demo forum shows only postbit_legacy, but usual postbit is also included in template and screenshot is available in attachment. - Almost every template was modified to include rounded headers, not only index. So xml files are rather large. - PSD files are in attachment. - If you want some additional color scheme(s) please pm me (note: custom work is not free). Installation: Unpack zip file, upload contents of directory "upload" to your forum including subdirectories. Use style.xml to install template. Screenshots and zip files are in attachment. Because of 10 attachments limit, only few screenshots are attached. See demo links instead. |

Every color from the original phpBB2 theme except Purple, the one that I need :)
It's ok though, I'll install Green and replace the colors and images from the phpBB version. Thanks for doing this, you've seriously saved me days of work!! |
I'll convert purple one too. Didn't think anyone wanted it
|
I've already started changing it over to purple, but it's probably easier if I leave it up to you. You're the expert :)
I have a friend who has been on phpBB2 for a long time. I switched to vB nearly a year ago, got sick of having to reapply all the modifications I installed every time phpBB released an updated version. Having the same problems with my friend's forum, but part of the deal is that if I pay for the license and get it looking nearly identical to the phpBB forum (using Morpheus Purple theme), then I'll be able to convert the forum across to vB. It's going to save me a LOT of maintenance time, vB takes only a few minutes to upgrade, phpBB takes hours! You have no idea how much I appreciate this! |
you straight up, make the best styles!!! i love them... installed
|
Added purple color scheme. See first post for download link.

Çok güzel tesekkur ederim // for thanks

Is this the same purple as in your phpBB2 theme? This one seems to have a much more blue tint to it.
Attachment 59210 |
Its the same purple as in MorpheusX Purple phpBB style, not Morpheus Purple style.
|
I see, in that case I look forward to the PSD files :)
|
Quick question: new posts show up in orange and I can't figure out how to change the color. Any idea?
I'm trying the blue one. Looks great! Very nicely done, CA. |
You could send the images to me in .psd so as to translate in Italian? Thanks
|
I really hope you could have time to convert Aphrodite too !!
|
PSD files are added to first post.

I did some customization to this to make it look like "Morpheus Purple style".
Original Morpheus Purple style phpBB2 forum: http://bbhosts.net/files/nih_phpbb2.jpg Modified CA Morpheus Purple style vBulletin forum: http://bbhosts.net/files/nih_finished.jpg Now it's a perfect blend of the two themes which everyone loves so far! I've changed the colors of normal/visited/hover/new links, the orange wasn't very popular. I've got them as: Regular Thread Link: Purple Visited Thread Link: Dark Purple Hover: Orange with Underline New Post: Bold Purple Thanks once again for doing this, I didn't even need the PSD files in the end, I just modified the defaults slightly in Fireworks. Also "ported" across the classic style for PM notifications, now it shows up as a box in the middle: http://bbhosts.net/files/nih/pm2.png And modified the postbit to vertically align signatures at the bottom of posts instead of directly underneath the message, but that could apply to any template. I can't thank you enough for releasing this! |
Looks good!
|
very nice style CA
|
Thanks.
*Installed* |
Installed and love the style.
One question: how do I set the column widths to be identical in all categories on the main forum page? I see the same "uneven" look on your screenshots that I am seeing on my forum. I'm pretty much a novice, so take it easy on me if you can. Thanks! |
In template forumhome_forumbit_level1_nopost set width to columns in this code:
Code:
<tbody> |
Thanks...I'll play with that to see if I can get my desired look.
Is there no setting that will prevent the content from expanding the column widths? **EDIT** Nevermind...got it. Thanks again |
Nope. Browsers will adjust columns as needed to fit all content if something doesn't fit in width set for a column.
|
psd files? Beautiful Skin.
|
Download ca_morpheus_psd.zip in first post
|
Anyway to get this not stretched?
|
Change "outertablewidth" template variable to something like "800px"
|
Updated for vBulletin 3.6.5.
There aren't any actual template changes, just xml files are updated. |
Great work, I am impressed with this colors
