New VBulletin.org Skin

WOW!
Bravo!
  • How long has this been in the works?
  • Is it going to be available for the general public?
  • Who did it?
  • I'm not sure if it were there before or if I'm just noticing it because of the new skin, but what articles mod is it?
  • What other mods are installed with this new skin?

zappsan 01-09-2007 08:28 AM

I doubt they are going to release it or public since it was made for vB.org, so why should other sites be able to use it?
Anyway, the skin was made by Princeton as you can see in the footer.

This was all answered in your other post about it. Most of its simply html changes of moving stuff around

There is no articles mod, thats simply default forums setup with permissions differently

the part i was talking about in articles is how the first post is formated.

You could probably use the Lite version of GARS and get a similar effect with little work.

Princeton 01-11-2007 08:57 PM

- the articles and new pm postbit are done via a new postbit class

template editing is not recommended because templates/functions/memory are still used - creating a new class is the best way to go

the articles section (forumdisplay, showthread, etc) will be getting a new interface ... within a few months

I love how the header is done here. Would be amazing if someone find out how to implement the header and the buttons.

Have they changed their minds yet?
Will they release it to the public?

It's not very hard to achieve if you know what you're doing...

Lahoria 05-16-2007 02:18 PM

How do I change my bagground color to the link this forum ( vbulletin.org : the dark blue ) ?

Quantnet 05-16-2007 03:38 PM

Yeah, not hard to get similar style like this. Look at mine ....lol....
It took a month and lot of mods on this site to get my look.
