Well I like the new look and navigation is much better too.

So do I - may take a bit to get used to
But I really do like it - as the 1st poster said the Navigation is a bit better.
ALSO I want the dark blue skin - Anyway to have an official vBulletin.org contest for those "old" skins?

Jacquii.

This will take some getting use to. Is it possible to get that banner on the right to display completely? Perhaps its just me, but it only shows about 2/3 of it and boy is that driving me nuts.

rickyreter 01-07-2007 11:10 PM

Just one thing

When can we download new style;)

Great work

Oh ...why big news banner not fully showing?

Spotted something, on the forum were it says the board names and it shows how many people are viewing that board "(23 viewing)".

There should be a space after the board name and that, but there isn't :p

I see all of it, what browser you using

The Equivocate 01-07-2007 11:18 PM

I also can only see 2/3 of the banner. I'm using FireFox2 with a 1280x800 resolution, with my start bar on the right side and my AIM buddy list docked on the left side... this is the first time using this setup that I've had a problem with displaying all the content on a page.

Guest190829 01-07-2007 11:19 PM

Switch to the fluid style, that doesn't contain the yellow banner.

I've just started FF2 and viewed the site with that instead of IE7. Looks fine to in FF2. Running at 1280X1024

Rich 01-07-2007 11:33 PM

I would love to switch to a fluid style, but i can't seem to locate where you are hiding it. lol

peterska2 01-07-2007 11:33 PM

UserCP > Edit Options > Switch to a wider layout

Princeton 01-08-2007 12:05 AM

the banner is temporary ... (eg. for the next week or 2)

steven s 01-08-2007 01:10 AM

Boy, this really threw me for a loop.

KURTZ 01-08-2007 01:47 AM

now is really easy and fast switch from mods to styles, it's really friendly use ... :)

R1lover 01-08-2007 01:49 AM

It looks better, but I MISS the wider size.... Is there anyway we can get a fluid skin like this?

Or at least make this one a little wider... people stopped using 800x600 screens a long time ago.

Edit: Never mind, I found the options mentioned on the main page...

Nice feature for sure.

Is this mod going to be published? lol

mackers8923 01-08-2007 02:04 AM

1st Class guys well done on the new style, it looks really well....

we wanna this mod! :P

unenergizer 01-08-2007 02:42 AM

It would be great if you could make the Installed image a few shades darker.

https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/external/2007/04/4.gif

It's abit light.

Other than this, I really like the design. My favorite so far!

stangger5 01-08-2007 02:52 AM

I like it,,,,very nice work !!!

Could use some more smilies tho...lol..

Agreed!
These ones are on every board which are old

gsm4arab1 01-08-2007 03:06 AM

wooow
The new Style is very wonderful

Zachery 01-08-2007 04:04 AM

User CP Menu infuriates me.

DaPro 01-08-2007 04:35 AM

Sorry but I really dislike this new look, it is extremely too cramped, and it just looks like the default vB look with some extra stuff on it.

However, I do love the new features, but I would perfer another clean style with the current new features and a WIDER main body. Just way too much going on and I can't stand to be on this site now for more than 6 minutes at a time :(.

Other than that, it's great! :-|

Feckie (Roger) 01-08-2007 05:30 AM

I switched to the wider style as it was too cramped, but i still think that the style if too dark .

So why are we not given the option to pick our style any more !

Rich 01-08-2007 07:59 AM

Thanks Kerry. I searched in there yeserday, found the different color options themselves, but didn't realize that a checkbox would change the width so I didn't even see that!

The fluid version is much better!

SaN-DeeP 01-08-2007 08:51 AM

the new design is very good

The smilies will be replaced when we decide on a new set, in the meantime we reverted to the vb defaults.

Lars-Christian 01-08-2007 09:00 AM

I think you mixed up the buttons for collapse and expand by the way. Expand points upwards, and collapse downwards.

Paul M 01-08-2007 09:05 AM

Hmm, I'll wait for Joe to answer that, they do seem to be reversed.
