What Does This Modification Do?

This hack checks the amount of private messages a user has sent in the past 24 hours and makes sure it that amount doesn't go past the user's User Group PM Quota.

thanx man. i did a quick test and works fine so far. however in my test i had set daily quota 1 and was able to send 2 pm's . the 3rd got blocked though

Thanks for this hack, but for me it seems to check the last 3 days instead 24 hours.

there are bugs in it. First of all when the user reaches his daily quota he cant send pms through the send new message however he can reply to any pms which means if he press on the reply button and then he can change the name and its like sending new pm anyway.

i unistalled the product untill the bug is fixed. then i tried to edit something else i usergroup permissions and i get

edit : after i deleted the bitfielddailyquota file this didnt come up again

Daily PM Quota - glad to see someon'es created a mod for it at long last. Unfortunately it doesn't look like the bugfix has been made available:

ok good bugs are fixed. is it possible to add a feature how many pms are left for the member to send and/or when he is gonna be able to send another pm ? (my members are asking this)

Any plans to update this for vb4 or has anyone got this working on vb4? This is a very good mod. I understand if the author is too busy but would be nice to know if there are any plans or not. Happy New Year to all.:)
