Just thought i would get some thoughts on the "default" skin over at vbbox.

its a skin that you either hate or love i would think seeing as its alot of purple lol (not a colour i use very often or i see get used)

anyway any comments on the design would be great.

also thinking of adding some kind of side bar down the right hand side of site what would have latest news, latest content, and vb resources.

I found this a day or two ago when looking for 2evolve (I'm writing an article on the best forum theme shops and designers). It's very nice despite the purple :)

Too much purple for me, but the design is nice.

Personally I love the style and the nice images w=that compliment the style. However, I can see many people being overwhelmed by the dominant use of the purple used.

My own preference and opinion. Very nice. :)

It's crazy cause it would look great if it weren't so purple.

You're a good designer, but u might be color blind.

I think it's stunning, one of the very very few themes I've seen I'd actually consider paying for.

The colour is hard on the eyes (that light purple). The layout looks very elegant and modern, you seem to be very good with the layout-ing .. but that's too much of a "two-tone" design. I would add more colour and tone down that purple.

LOL nah not colour blind bud, its when i get a sore back and slump down in my chair when working i tend to see the colours darker on the lcd screen lol.

i relised this would look brighter to some peeps and darker to others. but was at the point wer if i changed it, it would be alot more work.

good news is tho it will be changed to blue after the shop section and content has been finished.

Great looking site, love the layout. One thing I would suggest is bigger previews of your skins.


When do your subscriptions go live? :)

shop goes live sometime tonight/2morrow. subs will follow after that at a later date. need atleast 10 skins and tons of extras before i can justify the 70 a year sub fee.

yeah ther will be full previews of the skins as ther completed. most are still getting finished. so could only realy take screenies of the concepts.

mediatemple was always spitting out db errors or down so i moved to a new host.
