How many products do you have installed?

On your site
Products- not templates

Just wanting to know the averages of peoples sites

/me uses 35 :cross-eyed:

peterska2 12-15-2006 09:53 PM

not as many as i do on my dev board. :p

in fact not that many really these days, back on 3.0.x I would have over 100 mods installed but since 3.5.0 beta I've sorta cut back.

Be sure to poll ;)

About 6, but one is just a general product so for all the custom stuff on my site (that isn't part of something bigger).

24 at the min, hoping to cut it down some and add more styles

On 3.0.8 I used to have tons of hacks installed, with no database errors, but with 3.6.4 plugins seem to tend to cause database errors for some of my members pretty consistently - I have tried a bunch and that was a mistake - then I tried just a few - people still reported errors - so now I run a board with only new files and template edits - I have to pass up a lot of cool new hacks because of that, but now I don't hear about my members getting any database errors. I think that the plugin and product system is a good idea, but it needs more work.

On the site itself: 10, eleven with require reason for reputation, what's just a plugin and no product :D
But my localhost-testboard is filled with some more (about 20 or something)
some for testingpurpose some for building up new hacks...

Good Lord, I haven't counted until this post. I have 20 with one more that I'm testing out. Honestly though, for my board...I need all but maybe two or three. Thank goodness they all played well with the 3.6.4 upgrade. Let's hope that stays consistent.

Not by a long way. You weren't around in the 3.0.x days, and that was proper hacking your board too. None of this fancy plugin nonsense :p

Counting down on testboard 1 (3.6.4) I've got about 90 products installed, without stand alone plugins, or template edits. Theres also about 200 styles on it.

Testboard 2 (2.3.10) has about 30 major hacks installed, and actually runs better than my live board (3.6.2) with under 10 products installed, most of which are minor, and my other live board (3.6.2 with about 20 products) is pretty much dying and needs serious rebuilding from scratch.

I'm open to suggestions as to how I can vote with that lot!

We had the arcade, ushop, ucash, vb advanced, talkerbot, and thats just for starters that I can remember off the top of my head from back then.

As for some of the 2.x mods, they were awesome!
