I formally request that the hacking forum be split into two.

It is very difficult to find hacks for 1.x anymore. and some of us don't want to make our boards live while a product is still in beta.

Please?

I would additionally request that there be a forum just for releases. Or maybe do this, and cover both bases:

Code:

vBulletin Code Hacks
> Discussion
> vB1.1.x Hack Releases
> vB2.0.x Hack Releases

I would volunteer to go through the threads and sort them into the appropriate sub-forums, if necessary.

I totally agree! :p

Yeh I think its time to split hacks into 2 groups as well.

I could also aid this as well as the hacking forum looks clutter.

yeah.. installed a template search hack into V2 beta 4.1
but when I edited the found templates the result was a new custom template, and the template removed from the normal templates :(

Nicholas Brown 04-08-2001 12:33 PM

I would be very willing to help with the sorting

tubedogg 04-08-2001 12:34 PM

????????

First off, we are discussing the forums here and how we think they should be split up...
Second, v2 beta 4 already has a template search option in it...

I think you hit reply on the wrong thread...

No sorry Nicholas :) I was talking to the guy directly above you - you replied while I was replying and your message got posted first. ;) Sorry!
