thanks will give it a try!
does this hack lock a thread after Xdays picked by post creator? for example: you start a new thread have a option somewhere that will allow you to put how many days you want the post to stay open?
No admin decides
One more, Ziki Great Job and thanks for everything. Installed and Work 100%.

Great work!
Tks, again Beduino |
/me clicks install!
Does this allow for certain forums?
No this is only threads
Uhhh...Is it x ammount of days without a post..? or just after x days? >_<
Just after x days
Ziki can you make this to auto lock every thread that is created inside a specific forum?
I have some announcements in a certain forum from my members and i want them to be auto-locked when they click "submit". (i know it's not request forum,i dont want to open a whole thread just for that) Thanks!:D |
Hm, I've installed this but all my old threads are still open. Is there a cron that I need to run or so?
No nothing.Just install and enter the threadid. Are you sure you didn't enter the post id?
Aah apologies. I was under the impression that this would globally just close old posts, not need specification. :D
Offtopic: What about an auto-lock if the thread rating gets below a certain point? I'd be willing to pay you to do this...

Code:
AND lastpost < ".intval(TIMENOW-(86400*$zhtime) |
Will fix it.
1.0.1 released
Please upgrade as soon as possible. The hack didn't work :D |
sorry if this is a stupid question... on my boards i have daily topics and each one runs for a day so would this work to auto lock every post in a set board at midnight of the day it was started?
But you would have to enter the threadids manually
Thanks
Strange hack... Installed but does nothing without putting in the thread id you want locked. So if you have 5000 threads you would have to find each thread id to make this work globally. Kind of pointless when you can lock the thread manually anyway. I though perhaps this may have prevented old threads being opened after x number of days..
Would it be possible to:
1. Make this happen for only one forum? 2. Automaticly add a reply to the thread? |
1.Yes
2.Yes Will do?Maybe |
Uuhm.. of course what I mean is:
are these functions currently available? |
Um no
Too bad.
Thx anyway. Maybe still interesting. Any change u will make something like this within a short period? |
No not really sorry.Maybe after I finish a few other projects
Sure.. If you make it; I'm interested :).
is there any way to make this close all posts on a board (eg board #2) at midnight with out having to keep adding the post id
No.
Installed! Stupid question: is the thread ID just the numbers or do you need the t= ?
(And, would it be possible to time them in hours instead of days? And if so, how much would that hack cost?) |
Just the threadid :)
Thanks ZH! :)
Okay, that didn't work, so I'm doing something wrong. I used the number of the thread, meaning the number that comes after t=
Is the thread ID something else? |
