You need something unique, otherwise there's nothing to to think over and above any other forum. Have a look at the modifications that are available here and consider buying yourself a different theme.

Hacked? That's nothing to do with the name of the domain, just use that one if you prefer it.

There's an Xfire in postbit mod here somewhere you'd probably like. Don't go looking for things you don't need, or add things because you think you might. Sit down and think for a bit about what you want to achieve and what your target audience will want and enjoy, then set about trying to satisfy that.

It couldn't be much plainer. You really need to install atleast 1 custom template. You don't have to make it - there's a ton available for free here.

Hacked? Phh... That has nothing to do with your domain. Just change the nameservers so it points to your new site if you've lost total control. Your host should be able to do something about it too. Don't give your site a new (and rather crappy) identity when there's a perfectly good domain just sitting there.

Very borring style, you will need to put some money aside to get a proffessial one made or buy one.
Rememer your forum will stand out more with a better style.
