1st Hack that slows down my Forum ever (and i have installed ~50!).

And it does not use the Standard CSS Colours.

It's a cool concept, but redlabour has brought up some valid issues with it.

slows down forum? i'll look into that. and to say it doesn't use standard css colours is crap to be honest. it quite clearly does. the two classes it references are .inlinemod and .tborder.

anyone else had a problem with a slowing down their forums, i've not got speed decreased on either my test board or live board?

Sorry you misunderstand me - i mean you do not use the Standard vBulletin Colours from the original Style.

Great! It's one of those "Why didn't I think of that?" ideas.

It's difficult to judge, but I'm sure it slowed me down as well so I removed it for now. :(

Your cache code should be $globaltemplates[] = 'npa_showthreadbit'; since it's unnecessary and inefficient to deal with an array for just one item, but that didn't help.

Incidentally, there's nothing wrong with the CSS or even the colours. It looks exactly the same on a default theme as it does in the screenshot, so I don't see the problem.

No it does not. It is a great mod.

to try and combat speed problems, though i have no idea what they're all about as i don't suffer them, i further refined the conditional.

I saw your screenshot showing the new post on the bottom of the thread. Is it work for new post show on top?

They do. But it's not always noticeable. I think a better image/placement would make them more readily noticeable.

Ok, this is one of 3 hacks that I have installed and my board is suddenly very slow. I'm going to disable to see if it's this hack that caused the slow down....

Installed. I am not noticing anything to do with slowing. I'll keep my eyes open though.

Any way to talk the author into adding an option to disable this via the user cp? :D
