something is wrong. I tested with 4 different users all rating the same picture with a 10. The first 2 were ok, then at the third 10 rating, average rate displayed 6.67 based on 3 votes (of 10). At the fourth 10 rating, it displayed average 4.47

How many of them (users) where the owner of the photo?;) Strange. I tested till 30 votes.

none were owners. Owners can't vote. User 1 voted then logged out. User 2 logged on and voted then logged out and so on.

No, its not. I found the bug. I acceddently removed a field from database. Moment. I'll be back in 5 min

What is strange, I went on databse just now, and changed the 4.47 to 10.00 so it displays rating 10 based on 4 votes right? Then user 5 came in and rated photo 10.

It now displays rating 4.00 based on 5 votes.

The problem in programming is not when you're writing code but when you subtrack code. I've deleted a field from database. For those who already installed it just import again: vbhotornot.xml and upload vbhotornot.php
For all the other Zip file is updated with changes.

you are also missing this template, but it appears it's not doing anything. It was showing as uncached. I commented it out and everything remained fine

Is there a possibiliy to add a module on vbAdvanced CMPS with a random picture. and when you click on it, you should go to its rating-page.

Yes it very easy. eg to have Top Male/Female, or Newer Male/Female or random as you said. Maybe i'll spend this weekend to write some module for vbAdvnaced for this and for my other modules.

A mass upload or process from server on premium version would be nice too. Since we can have many categories, for example we can have a category for beaches, or cars and instead of uploading them one by one ....

I have another problem. I set unregistered as can use but cannot rate. I assumed by that that they can see, but cannot do anything.

You assumed wrong ;) Unregistered can use and rate but not add/edit/delete. At least tin this version.

Can you make it so it displayes as ratemycar.php rather than vbhototnot.php same with the other files ect. As it would suit my site alot better.

No, I'm usinf seperate table for the data, as I dont want to touch any vB's table to keep compatibility with upcoming upgrades of vB. A user must upload a photo only in my module.

I'm thinking to use other name for the commercial version. Something like vbphotovote or vbrateit

Well that doesnt really answer my question. Can you recode it to say ratemycar.php? or maybe even something like rate.php loose the vb at the front it looks crap :)

Because the official module's support will be there, but the main reason is that I don't want to broke the rules of this site.

also, i own hotspotornot.com and was wondering if this could be tailored to "places" instead of people, and if you could add comments right below it.... like an ajax function where comments show up only after you vote.
