Hey, I first saw this on sitepoints board and now I see it on VB.com...how do you add this? Is this a hack? I think it's great and I need it bad...
Help...can anyone shed some light..? |
It is included in vB 2.0 Beta 4 and higher.
|
Okay...I just upgarded to beta 4...all is well with my board, but that does not show up...how do I tweak it? Install it, get it to show up?? etc.
:( |
Strange - I upgraded from beta3 to beta4 and it just showed up without me doing anything special.
|
Yeah...I did the same thing, but it no showie...:(
|
Did you change your templates?
|
You will need to revert your forumhome_loggedinusers template to the default and re-customize it.
|
Ed...Nope, I did not change my templates.
Kier, thanks if this is the fix... ;) |
Ok Kier
I just did that and it's now showing up, but there is not date listsed...should I be turning something on in the control panel? also I cannot see the birthday info what is required to make that happen.. Thanks for the assistance. |
View the original ForumHome template and look for birthday near the top. Copy that information into your customized template where you want it to be.
|
wlike,
I have done that and all that shows is "Birthdays:":( I think I found the issue...after I did the install, i got this error on index.php Parse error: parse error in ./admin/functions.php on line 1193 I am not a php guy, so I do not know how to correct this. I did open the functions.php in Homesite and looked at the line 1193...but i did not see anything that looked out of place. So, I have given up until i can correct this error on my index.php file. Until then I am using an index.php3 file so my members can stipp post.. any thoughts? |
