Too much stuff going on IMO. Get rid of the flash banner, the scrolling text, and move the shoutbox to the bottom and you'll be set :)

xtreme-mobile 10-18-2006 06:31 PM

that was quite painless, cheers for the feedback :D

It is quite an attractive site. However, I suggest you darken (or lighten) one of the alts somewhat, giving the eyes better "jumping off points". There are a lot of links in a sea of very light blue, which makes it easy for a person to lose their frame of reference when scanning down the page.

Just my opinion! :)

defintely darken the blue........ hard to read.........and lose the shout box...... I hate those things. But that's just me. :)

xtreme-mobile 10-19-2006 06:29 PM

how would one go about darkening colours of a skin?:ermm:

fsk1290 10-19-2006 06:59 PM

edit the style sheets in style manager

Link isn't working for me......but to move the shoutbox to the bottom, should be an option in your admincp, vbulletin options, shoutbox......

yes, go into your admincp, and click on vbulletin options. Then using the scroll bar, scroll down to vbshout options and open it. Click vBShout Position, then hit the little down arrow and select "below forums"....and click save.

That should do it for ya.............hotwheels
