Kirk Y 10-06-2006 05:41 PM

Ooo... creepy. Excellent - just in time too.

Azhrialilu 10-06-2006 05:46 PM

Thanks :) We've been sitting on it for a couple of months - we wanted to make sure it was just right and we didn't want to go for the typical bright orange comical type.

cmartin 10-06-2006 05:56 PM

YES! Great style; thanks.

Chris

Klaymen TK 10-06-2006 06:09 PM

Beautiful style. ;)

Pathor 10-06-2006 06:43 PM

Looks very nice, thanks! :)

Azhrialilu 10-06-2006 06:45 PM

Thanks :)

Mдяc 10-06-2006 11:28 PM

ops, so cool. bro !!
looks very nice.

MusicMan 10-07-2006 12:50 AM

Very nice! I was surprised to not see any orange, but you did a great job of creating a Halloween atmosphere. :)

lihutk 10-07-2006 01:21 AM

Style for rock,thanks so much

Metal-R-US 10-07-2006 08:26 AM

Just want to say it looks really amazing. Great style!

Azhrialilu 10-07-2006 09:43 AM

:) glad you guys like it.

MusicMan, we purposely stayed mostly away from orange as it gives quite a gimmicky look and we wanted the style to have a more subtle effect while still retaining some of the obvious imagery.

We'd done orange to death on a style before that - which we'll likely release soon :)

NFLfbJunkie 10-07-2006 04:44 PM

Very nice style Azhrialilu. Would really like to see more holiday themed styles. I'm new to the vBulletin software, which rocks by the way. Does anyone know if there are any other holiday themed styles out there?

Azhrialilu 10-07-2006 05:04 PM

We will be offering a few more seasonal/holiday themed styles soon. I'm pretty confident there are some lovely christmas ones already available here, but I'm not sure what version of vb they're for.

yesfans 10-08-2006 01:50 PM

work with 3.6.0?

Azhrialilu 10-08-2006 03:01 PM

The style was designed on 3.6.0 - but the template changes in this zip are all 3.6.2 version so I couldn't say for sure, but I imagine it will.

yesfans 10-08-2006 09:38 PM

It is working fine other then one thing. Main page, www.yesfans.com is fine, but when you click on any thread, when it loads the thing is two big I have to scroll left to right to see it all. Can this be fixed?

yesfans 10-08-2006 09:38 PM

if you click into a forum it is fine. When you go into a thread then it is two wide compared to the forum listing and main page!~

Devil Woman 10-08-2006 10:39 PM

I get the same problem, main forum index is fine but view thread you have to scroll left and right for you to see most of the page

Total666 10-09-2006 03:39 AM

WOW -- this is a great style ... Great work .. Total

funky1 10-09-2006 06:30 AM

For me it's the main forum index that looks off.

Hoffi 10-09-2006 06:33 AM

Look very creaapy. Thanks.

ktp101 10-09-2006 11:22 AM

looks great, love it! :D

I have a similar problem,

yesfans 10-10-2006 12:49 AM

Anyone?

Azhrialilu 10-10-2006 09:04 AM

Sorry I didn't back to you guys sooner, been having a nightmare time on the homefront *rolls eyes*

Is it with the fixed width or fluid style?

If you guys can link me to the forums you're having difficulties with we will take a look, as the style works absolutely fine on our own forums.

Azhrialilu 10-10-2006 09:49 AM

In the meantime:--

the main forum page looks funny , is out of line , dont' display the cats right , yet the rest is fine :

Category forum descriptions- , most fancy- top styles will not allow the use of them as they will cause another line. With the area for the title being a set height this may cause the center to be larger and the ends which are a fixed image to center themselves on the new induced height, causing the forumhome page to lose its layout.

Known problems :
1. All forums "must" have a Category header, main title in which to list the forums under or they will not display right .
- - Our styles are of the split forum type and must have this Category header .

This can be remedied by changing code and would be a custom set up . This setup may be effected by adding new forums and categories and may or may not need a code change every time a forum is added or a layout change is needed .

2. The category Header is a must , the forums have to be arranged :
- - All Category header with only forums under it .
- - A category header with only categories under it and no forums.
- - With all of the forums or forum 'first' , then the categories at the bottom of the forum listing .
again this can be altered with a custom code that may need editing when forums or a layout change is needed .

90% of people dont' need to worry about these problems, but you need to be aware of them and the problems that it can cause .

the threads being too wide -

with the addition of the sides and my not using a smaller screen size ( 800x ) .
the code block may still be at the vB default of 640 .

this depending on the post bit your using needs to be reduced .

In the admin -cp -> styles & templates -> Style Manager : from the drop down menu in the style choose/ select -> StyleVars .

on a fixed style of 770 we have set the -> Code Block Width (pixels) to 480px . this is working .

In the meantime, we will double check everything and will update the file with the new settings shortly.

Please see initial post for additional xml files.

We have tried the style on a couple of sites without any issues, but have added these xml's just in case.

Azhrialilu 10-10-2006 12:18 PM

You're welcome :)

yesfans 10-10-2006 03:00 PM

have you considered doing a Xmass holiday themed skin, maybe one that covers the T-day and Xmass Seasons? This one is pretty damn good, why not another.

Azhrialilu 10-10-2006 03:35 PM

T-day? Thanksgiving? I'm in the UK, so I'm going to guess that's what you mean :D We will be bringing out Christmas, Valentines and Easter styles :) And I imagine we could do a Thanksgiving one for next year.

spaghie 10-10-2006 03:45 PM

Looks great!
it displays nicely on the basic forum pages. would have to do some customizations for the other forum apps i'm running.

Thanks

Edit: Just re added the xml file again and everything seems fine now, hmm weird

Thanks

Mine did the same. I don't recall if I reloaded the XML another time but I cleared cookies and the like and then mine was working.

Azhrialilu 10-11-2006 06:40 AM

Most bizarre.. if any of you guys have any more problems, could you please supply a link to the site it's installed at so we can take a look :)
