This Style looks great.
Hmm, but why the psd Files for the Button are not inside ? So we can make translations in other Languages ? *hmm* |

As for a fluid version, No, there will be no plan by me to release this in a fluid version, but there are many helpful people here and quite possibly someone may offer some code modifications to make it fluid. As for PSD buttons, Sorry about that, they should have been in the zip file. I'll hunt these down and update the zip. Thanks to everyone else that had something nice to say. Your comments are appreciated. |
looks great, thanks
i have a question, how can i add the standard navbar on the top? thanks |
Thank you Mark. It looks like a great skin. :)

Fine... Ill leave it to be, All hating on my forum just because I had my style looking better first :P
Nice skin though. |
This is Not 3.6.1 Version
i couldnt instal |
Please note, if you install this with 3.6.1 or 3.6.2 (when released) just select ignore style version. It does work with 3.6.1 and should have no problems with 3.6.2.
|
Looks great, but where is "New Posts" in nav bar?
|
A really cool red/black style that many hosting provider support forums will really like. It looks professional and complete - and it is to my liking. Good job! :)
|
Awesome style... just the look we'd been chasing.
But for some reason, there is no smilie box when making new posts? Is that the style or have I missed an option somewhere??? |
Why is it designed to reside inside the /forums and not /images? !!! :(
|
I installed it and its fixed width how can i make 100%?`
|
AdminCP --> Styles & Templates --> Style Manager --> Change All Style Options to StyleVars --> Main Table Width change it from (780) to 100% then save
|
austrekkers; The smile box seems to be working fine on the demo. Not sure what your issue may be.
Red Matrix; If you are refering to the location of the images being in a directory above public_html (or forums) and not under the images directory, you can simply change the stylevars to have it get the images from whatever directory you want. There may be some templates as well that will need this changed too, as well as the CSS. Most of my styles images reside in the forum directory, just seems to be my preference :) Belisario; You can add whatever navigation you would like to the navbar by editing the header. Floris; Thank you for the compliments. |
can't find location of redbar.xml after it's uploaded. please let me know the directory where it is.
props on the theme. looks as good as commercial themes. |
The redbar.xml file is in the zip file with the screenshot redbar.jpg.

guy's the postbox as you can see above comes out the lines :/ no idea how to fix it. |
Upload the rest of the images. The broken image links are most likely causing this.
|
same issue, I uploaded that folder 2-3 times.
|
Hey i added you to my msn, i have some work needed done im paying..
|
So if you right click on the missing images, select properties... That shows you where the image should be. If you copy and paste that into your browser and you see the image... then there may be another issue, but I am guessing that you won't find anything but a page not found error...
This have been installed I would imagine 50+ times with no problems with the folders. PM me your url, and I'll look at your site. AMD Warrior: Recieved your PM. I am on MSN now. |
hey, this style looks just like mine....oh, wait....thats because I downloaded mine from here......
Seriously though, I'm having the same issue....followed instructions verbatim SEVERAL times, and images are not working http://forums.hardwarelogic.com |
Okay, after installation I have a couple questions/issues.
First, where do I edit the text for the posts? The forum members say the light grey text is too hard to read....I'd like to make it a little bigger, and adjusting the text in the CSS fields in the ADMINCP did nothing. Second, I'm getting a message saying these templates need to be updated or reverted.......I'm fairly new using VB and want to do this right...little help please. Any help making this vBadvanced compatable? I've got a lot of broken images when using this style.
Edit: Nevermind, I reset the StyleVars locations and it fixed it. The only problem I have now is that my header on the forums isn't the same as what it is on my homepage. It's like background.jpg is called for the forums but not for vBadvanced. Any help on that? Edit2: Fixed that too. If anyone is having problems with vBadvanced, do the following: AdminCP --> Styles & Templates --> Style Manager --> All Style Options --> Body Extra CSS Attributes --> Change redbar/elements/background.jpg to the full URL (http://www.example.com/forums/redbar...background.jpg) I know that sounds like a duh moment, but just thought I'd help in case someone else has one of those moments. |
this is pretty much exactly what I was looking for - not overdone and suitable for everyday use. Many thanks.

Got mine installed in a snap - if you are missing anything on your frontpage index if you are using Vbadvanced then look at the page source (View > Source in Firefox, cant rmember what it is in IE) I just leafed through it and noted the locations that it was expecting the images to be in and copied them there too.
www.3d-palace.com Worked a treat :) Nice work! |
thanks Mark, the skin is awesome good work.
