Send To Friend - Image Verification For Guests

Send To Friend - Image Verification For Guests

This modification will force image verification on the send to friend form for guests (like on contact us).

Installation

Import the product 'product-stf_imagever.xml'.
Options (well, there's only one) can be set in AdminCP -> vBulletin Options -> Site Name / URL / Contact Details

Open the 'sendtofriend' template

FIND

HTML Code:

            </tr>

            </table>

        </div>

        

        </div>

    </div>

REPLACE WITH

HTML Code:

                </td>

            </tr>

            </table>

        </div>

        $imagereg

        </div>

    </div>

Please Install this modification if you use it.

Nope, don't think so. It is for sendmessage however.

It's already a feature for the "Contact Us" page (sendmessage)

You will need to enable it in:

vBulletin Options -> Site Name / URL / Contact Details -> Allow Unregistered Users to use 'Contact Us' -> Yes, but Verify Image

I've not had a chance to look at the new version yet, as I've just upgraded to owned and able to get back into things now.

I'll have a look soon; although.. should work :)

Maybe your template got overridden or your Hook/Plug-In might have gotten turned off during the upgrade.

Or did you install fresh?

Oh, no. I mean my license expired, and couldn't access anything here or vb.com for a while ;) But I'm all set now.

Since I will be starting a new job soon, I will not have any time to work on my modifications.
Therefore, anyone who wants to take my modification(s) and build/improve them further, are free to do so.

hi folks,

I whas using this but it stopped working and i had to disable it.It does not work anymore because jelsoft changed the way the imagesverification work.Anyhow to make a long story short i have modified this and working just fine on 3.7.3 (PL1) if anybody wants this just yell and i will post the two updated plugins you'll need to get it to work on 3.7.x it is also no longer dependent on just imageverification.The library used can be anything you select under humanverify options

actually it will work out of the box if your contact us script is sendmessage.php and contact us verify is enabled under "human verification options"
