do you install your own hacks?

When you create a hack or design do you press your install button?

MentaL 08-26-2006 07:58 PM

peterska2 08-26-2006 08:02 PM

same here.

I thought it would be considered cheating.

Of course I do. Who wants to spend time finding your own hack threads to see if anyone needs support when you can just click the "show installed hacks" quick link. ;)

Um. My reason almost exactly.

Freesteyelz 08-27-2006 12:12 AM

Nope, although I subscribe to them. :)

I install my own.......lot's of up's and down's, but it is kewl to see your site when you get the mod installed and working.

HMBeaty 08-27-2006 03:29 AM

I do.

G0F0RBR0KE 08-27-2006 05:32 AM

Of course they install it. They have to try it before they release it to public.

I think the title of this thread is confusing people. It's not asking if end users install their hacks verses paying someome to install them.

This is what the title should have been.

When you release a hack here, do you click the install button for your own release?

When selecting a title for a thread you should always keep in mind that as it grows people will read the title, click go to first unread post, and reply. They won't always read your post explaining the title.

I'll click on the install button if I'm using that particular graphic set on my forum. 95% of the time I won't because I wouldn't click the install because of the vast majority of stuff I submit. :)
