|
Nice skin~, thanks.
|
Jackalz... how did you edit the psd logo?
|
Logo PSD has been updated with a layered version and editable text. Thanks for the update.
|
very nice, looks professional. Installed.
|
Thanks for the kind comments. This is one of my favorites because it does appear to be a professional style. Thanks for the install!
|
Really nice! Good play with the curves ;)
Thank you! |
Hey, nice skin, I've just installed it at http://theice.co.uk/ and with a few minor modifications, I'm going to use it as my default skin - nice work..
I have however found an error in one of the templates, the missing of a " from the header template, on line 7, just after Code:
style="background-image:url(images/c1/c1_04.jpg); Code:
<!-- logo --> I was wondering if this image might be able to be edited, so it's a tiny bit less wide, and the fading into blue happens sooner, maybe at the point I've indicated below. I would do this myself, but I'm useless with graphics. http://img245.imageshack.us/img245/9049/c103fe9.jpg Anyway, great work, if these two things could be fixed, it would be perfect :D |
Perhaps this will help:
[EDIT: Broken Link] Thanks for the updated header code. |
Any chance this theme will be updated for the fluid to be full screen like your other theme? Love this one btw.
|
Updated per your request. Thank you.
|
You... are the man. Thank you.
|
You're quite welcome.
|
Hi, I have a problem with this template in IE, the top bar doesn't fit the rest of the site:
http://img126.imageshack.us/img126/4908/theicehg9.jpg any ideas? |
Can you provide a live link. Screenshots, although helpful, don't show the whole picture of what you have going on. If you don't want to make it public, you can pm me and I'll take a look.
|
<a href="http://theice.co.uk/" target="_blank">http://theice.co.uk/</a> - The problem is only in IE, firefox seems to work fine.
(You know, I've just looked at your screenshot in the first post, and I can see you've got the same problem) |
I'm looking at this but it has me puzzled. The fluid version is fine, but I just noticed that on the screenshot, and my demo forum. Well, If I can figure this out, I will post back. As I said the fluid version shows fine. Its just the fixed width.
|
Well, I could go to the fluid verson, I even tried to do this myself (changing the width to 100% in the ACP), but all that did was made it hug the right hand side of the screen.
I don't want to have to install the fluid one as I've already made a bunch of changes to the templates that I don't want to lose, so is there any chance you could let me know what the diffrence between the two is so I can edit it myself. cheers :) |
While I'm here (sorry to be a pain) could I get a 'delete' button in the same style as the http://img235.imageshack.us/img235/3740/editdh0.gif one please?
Thank you :) |
Here you go: http://www.talkvbulletin.com/images/delete.gif
Thanks to those that have used my skins for thier forums. I have actually seen many of them, and would like to say to those who cannot be kind enough to keep the copyright / link in the footer... It's because of you that these free skins are not released more often. It's quite a shame that you cannot comply with a simple request in exchange for the use of these. For those that have kept them, thank you. I appreciate and I am sure so do the other designers that release these for your use. |
thank you very much - any idea what's causing the other problem? I'd be OK with going to the fluid template, but rather than upload it, because of all my template changes, I'd rather just edit what I have to match that of the fluid one.
cheers :) |
I'm not 100% sure what has cause that. The skin was coded and viewed using Firefox, which Is why I never realized that. It only does that in IE. If you in fact view it in FF or opera, it looks very good (and so does your forum using it.) I will of course keep viewing the code and try to resolve this, and if there is anyone that might have some input, that would be greatly appreciated as I have tried a few things and unsuccessfully fixed it.
|
I might have a play around, see what I can do with it... Maybe it just needs rebuilding from scratch... whatever the problem is.. it's weird.
(and thank you, but my forum only looks that good thanks to you :D) |
like the design a lot.. very simple yet stylish.
2 problems though.. if you are using firefox.. the forum seems to load from right.. and gets positioned at the center as the page loads.. :S also how do i change the forum home display to px from %... i mean the Forum, Last Post, Threads, Posts widths are set as % and it changes with resolution, i would wanna set a fixed width.. thanks! |
Very nice skin! If only I had a use for it...
|
Damn cool skin.i install..But how can i make it full screen? not leaving any grey space on left and right!
|
Edit the header and footer template. Look for the graphic (1 instance in each template) that has a width="74" tag. I can't think of the exact image name, but it is the laft and right border image. Change the 74 to 0 for each, and it will be full screen with no spacer on each side.
|
I think i fixed it http://realpornforum.com/
Header like this: <!-- logo --> <a name="top"></a> <table border="0" width="100%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" align="center"> <tr> <td style="background-image:url(images/c1/c1_01.jpg); background-position:right; Nevermind, I'll give it a shot myself at some point, but I've just started university, so I don't have a lot of time spare right now. (PS, interesting forum ;)) |
Uuumm.. OK, I don't know if you've just changed something, but I've just taken another look at your site, and it looks to be working corectly, in IE and FireFox... What did you change to make it work?

Hey Mark
Nice skin. I like it. :) Just one little question, when the page loads, it always loads the whole thing to the right, then jumps to the center? Could it be something to do with align's or something? :) Adrian |
