Edit:
There is a bug though. I'm using Firefox and although a "stop" window pops up, after clicking "OK" I can still see the "right click" options.
My vB Version is. 3.5.0, and my Firefox version 1.5.0.6.

Keep that in mind ;)

Ziki 08-20-2006 02:17 PM

So please click install :)

EDIT: AcidX check the second post :)

AcidX 08-20-2006 02:29 PM

Ah, you wrote it doesn't work in Mozilla. :)

Ziki 08-20-2006 02:31 PM

7 mins b4 you did :D

Ntfu2 08-20-2006 02:36 PM

You should take this a few steps further, and try to destroy all functionaltiy

Disable the microsoft image toolbar, anywhere in your head include template.
Code:

<meta http-equiv="imagetoolbar" content="no">
Disable the right click in Mozilla as well, in your head include (this also works for IE)
Code:

<body oncontextmenu="return false">
Disable copy and pasting in your headinclude put:
Code:

<body ondragstart="return false" onselectstart="return false">

Ziki 08-20-2006 02:37 PM

Thanks! :)

RaceJunkie 08-21-2006 03:45 PM

Can someone still hightlight the text and use ctl-c?

Ziki 08-21-2006 05:49 PM

Yup that option stays but this is mostly to prevent image downloading

Breaker 08-21-2006 09:32 PM

more of a pain than help, if you want to steal an image, you dont need to right-click. but some extensions to browsers do require a right click to work :|

Ziki 08-22-2006 06:54 AM

Ok but you get what the point is :D

Ziki 08-22-2006 08:18 PM

1.0.2 released.Read post 2 for more info

Ajavas 08-23-2006 02:54 PM

Hi Ziki, thanks and installed, but would it be posible to exclude some usergroups (like moderators and administrators) from this, so they can use the rightclick option?

Ziki 08-24-2006 08:02 AM

Nice idea. Will do on Monday cause I going away :)

Ziki 08-29-2006 10:49 PM

mktrilogy 08-30-2006 01:10 AM

Ziki 08-30-2006 09:03 AM

Ziki 09-02-2006 07:41 AM

1.0.4 released

Ziki 09-04-2006 11:28 AM

~1.0.5 released
-Removed exclude staff option and replaced by exclude certain usergroups option

Gizmo5h1t3 09-18-2006 01:05 PM

weird this
if i add more than one usergroup in the excluded section, it doesnt work.....but if i leave the admin (6) as the only one, it works fine

i seperated the usergroup numbers with commas as stated, yet it gooses up, and stops admin from right clikcing, if more than one usergroup is put in the box.......

also, it might cause a problem if say....members are using the imagehosting hack on here, which gives the html code in a text box, for you to copy and paste into your posts, to display images......

any ideas?

im asking as ive found out a member is blatantly copying threads, to post elsewhere......

Ziki 09-22-2006 03:59 PM

Will test out.Gimme time

Ziki 09-22-2006 04:06 PM

OK tested and works fine. The usergroups are fine.No idea why yours doesn't work :S

Gizmo5h1t3 09-22-2006 04:34 PM

nah, theres something amiss m8...

in the usergroup exclude box, if i put 6 only, admins can right click, no one else can...

if i put 2,5,6

no one can right click..admins included.

Ziki 09-22-2006 07:42 PM

I will do more testing tommorow. But it worked fine for me though :-/

pedroenf 11-08-2006 01:08 AM
