VB Image Hosting Version 1.0.1

This is the port for my hack to vb 3.6.x
check it for vb 3.5.x here

A New installer replaced the old one so you should not face any problems with database

NOTE :
People who were using vbimghost in vb 3.5.x and moved to vb 3.6.0 MAKE sure that you have vbimghost 1.4.1 Since this port will only support upgrading from that ver only
People who do a fresh install use this ver.

Requirements:

1. requires GD 2.0.1 or later (2.0.28 or later is recommended).
2. PHP ver 4.3.x or later (newer ver is better).

Introduction:

What does it do ?

VB Image Hosting is a similar feature to imageshak and photopoket and online free image hosting, but this is for your members. it will allow them to upload and host their images on your servers, you can still manage the permissions and set the number of files for each group.

Main Features:

• Image hosting
• Restrict # of file upload for each group
• Allow/disallow group from upload
• Restrict file uploaded based on file extension, dimensions and size
• Users can manage their uploaded files
• Users can set the view permission for each uploaded images
• Admin can mange all members images
• Admin can set the number of images/users per page.
• Admin can mange images uploaded by the members
• Admin can set the default upload permission
• Thumbnail system admin can turn it on/off.
• Allow multiple uploads.
• Admin can set upload slots for each group
• Admin can recreate thumbnails from admin cp
• Fully using the phrase system.

Time required to install

• 1- 2 min max.

Update instruction :
Just replace the old files with the new ones and import the product file don't forget to select overwrite.

• Fix security bug with delete image.
• fix some minor mysql problems.

NOTE:
before you post any error here :
Set that path to your forums correctly in the vbimghost options.
if you getting the error ""supplied argument is not a valid"
that's because you didn't set the path correctly

And for all the people asking when is the next release it will be in 2007 not this month .. due to some problems in real life ..

haven't seen you around lately :) (better to switch to PM insted of writing here)

this seems to work great. i have a question though. when trying to "View all user images" from the Nav bar, no images are showing up. Instead I get the message

"No user found"

I have uploaded a few images through my account, my account is admin and the admin usergroup "Can administrate images" button is checked

In there you can only see images set to public view only

if you want to see all the users images you have to go to the admincp
it will show you public/private images

Where you people upgrading from OLD ver the one for 3.5.0 ?!

this ver is only for fresh install
if your upgrading you have have the 1.4.1 installed as mentioned in the installation doc

I was uninstall the old product then install new one ,

Please let me know what i can do now , and from where i can find the 1.4.1

well you deleted the table and old stuff was removed
you can fix it if you reimport the product xml again in the mange product setting
but the old images is lost.

if you have a backup
restore the table again and install this https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.phpt=106127

it will install 1.4.1
then uninstall it then install the one here
the port is only supported from that ver only as it says in the install.htm file

Now my forum use 3.0.6 , is 1.4.1 for it ,

this file is for new installation and upgrading from ver 1.4.1
you had ver 1.0.2 which is very old


if you don't want the old images
Just reinstall the hack again and it will work with you.

Evry thing is OK :) ,

But when i upload the image there is set private not public !!!

and there is no text o image i need to write some text on image when users uploade using the vbimage :) !!

I just installed the 3.60 version of vb and the new version of image hosting and does matter the setting i put in vb hosting i still can't see the filmstrip mode.

Will you still be updating the hack for 3.5? As I won't be moving to 3.6 for a long time...

the film strip will show inside the display image and if you are viewing someone images it will show only the public ones

aaa Woking fine by now let me check more options will get back to u nice work :)

while i rebuild thmbnails it does that with some but i got this error

Same as someone.......Database error is one of the biggest problem of this hack. I tried again and again. I did as u told, but it didnt work . My dababase crashed like crazy...................Error and error.......
