Info:
This plugin is useful when you have big number of sub-forums. It arranges them into columns. You can easily choose number of columns (1 to 7) to arange sub-forums into. There are options to enable/disable hack, exclude forums, enlarge font for sub-forums titles, hide commas, hide "Sub-Forums" phrase, show thread/reply counts, and more...


Installation:
-Import XML file (as product): AdminCP > Plugin System > Manage Products > [Add/Import Product]


Notes:
-To get this hack working you must set "Depth of Sub-Forums" to "1" in vBulletin Options > Forum Listings Display Options
-To set hack options go to: AdminCP > vBulletin Options > Cyb - Sub-Forum Manager

is there a similar script for doing the same with with the actual forums?

Seems like most of the hard work is done, would be nifty to be able to space economise with the actual forums on forumhome in the same way.

Scroll down to the diablo section, I have it set to two columns.

Any chance of an option to remove the $vbphrase[subforums]: :)

It can be done by editing few templates.

But it's good idea to make it automatical ;)

Next version will include option "Hide 'subforum' phrase".

This hack is great, but I see one problem.

When I chose numbers of colmns, for example 4, if I have 6 items to show, second row has only two (6-4=2) td tags and layout on IE acts weird. If you could add the rest cells filled with  , your hack will be perfect.

Make sure you check your settings, because when you import it will lose what you had (though, not a big deal at all), just a heads up.

Is there a way to arrange the Sub Forums alphabetically in the same present structure or the column structure?

is there a way to set the subforum options differently on different forums? like if there is a parent forum on my main page I'd like to not show it's subforums, but then there is another that I would like to show the subforum

and also, is there a way to change the settings for columns independently instead of only overall?

Is there a way to use this on just 1 or two subforums and not all of them?

This is a great hack. Cleaned up my ever-growing forum nicely.

I'd like to suggest an addition to this hack that I think would be nice. Allow the number of threads to be visible next to each sub forum.

rather than:
sub-forum A
sub-forum B

have:
sub-forum A (45)
sub-forum B (37)

I nominated this fine mod for "mod of the month".........very user friendly.
