[VBulletin 2.3.5] Photo gallery
 

Hello everyone,

Here's my dilemma: I am running a forum about photography and graphic desing and I would like my users to be able to upload a picture and have people reply to it with comments and ratings.The uploaded picture should appear right before the body of the message and not at the end.

I'm guessing the the title refers to the version you are running?

Can you confirm if that is correct as I can check up on that version if needed

I'm sorry, I know exactly what you mean in that you want the attachments if they are images to be above the message text.

Please confirm what version vBulletin you are running and if you need this in all forums or just one or two. Also, is this just to happen in the first post of a thread or anywhere that images are attached?

Sorry for not getting back to you sooner, but I had lots of work to do and I was even out of town for vacation.
Anyway, after reading all your responses, I am still left with some doubts.
Bottom line, I am looking for a script just like Photo Album for phpBB (http://smartor.is-root.com/album.php). Any suggestions?

The link you have provided does not even vaguely resemble your request in the first post.

Please provide a text description of exactly what you are looking for along with vBulletin version and if possible a photoshop mockup of the end result.

Hi guys, i am looking for a gallery script to integrate in my forum.
Each user will have access to a personal gallery, where he can upload images.
From the personal gallery, choosing an image , he should have the opportunity to automatically create a thread in a specified forum with the image as topic:
the image will be visible in the thread and other users can leave comments / opinions.

Example: picture 1 is the empty personal gallery, the first bottom left link allow the user to upload an image (see picture 2)

there he can choose the title, a brief description ,and the file to upload (next picture 3)

the file has been uploaded in the personal gallery, now the user may click the "request comment" link , to create a thread (see picture 4)

in picture 5 the thread has been created in the selected forum : the image is fully visible at the top, and below users can comment it.

picture 6 shows latest uploaded pictures from all users.



Now : is there something similar? the target of the script should be the chance to upload personal images and let the user chose which one put out for comments and critics, but all his personal gallery is anyway public (but not commentable)

I've done a bit of searching and found these. Please note that the odds of support are very slim as most people do not actively develop or maintain modifications for vB2 any more.

You may wish to consider upgrading to the latest version if none of these do what you want as it will be unlikely that someone writes a new modification for this version now.
