Cairo Style
 

Hello
This is a new fixed width skin with the name of Cairo Style.
The skin has Google Adsense added to both header and footer.
I hope you like it :)

Skin Colors:
Silver, White, Grey, Dark Grey, Red and Dark Red

Skin Width:
800 Pixels

Skin Design:
- Header design
- Footer Design
- Buttons Design
- Status Icons Design
- Gradients Design

Code Changes:
- Adsense added to both header and footer
- Login and PM area added to the header and removed from the navbar template.
- Extra buttons for arcades, gallery and links have been added to the header.

Zip File Content:

-FH_Cairo folder : Style images folder (upload)
-FH_Cairo.xml file : import this through your admincp
-PSD files folder : Layer psd files for the style (not to be uploaded)
-logo Folder : contains empty logo pic to place your logo on. After placing your logo on this pic, upload it to forums/images/FH_Cairo
(note: don't change the pic name or it will not show)
-empty-buttons Folder : contains an empty version of the buttons used in the design so you can add what ever you want to them.
-README.txt

Its a really good skin im a type of blue lover so if it was in blue then i would install it but dark red is a bit gloomy for me other than that its great!!!

I love it
easy to customize with the many black buttons avail.

the only problem I had was
that the font color for the timestamp under "last activity"
on the who's online is the same as the background
and it cannot be seen
(unless of course you highlight it)

Ima gonna check out the black one now. .

jarcher many thanks for your post and glad that you liked Cairo Style, yes you are probably right about the time stamp at the very bottom of the page and I knew this before releasing the skin, but the problem that faced me that I had to make it this color so it can appear in the header but I will try to fix this problem in the next release.

actually, that an was easy fix

all that I did was change it in the css Time Color for that style

Yes true that you can change it through the CSS time but notice the time color in the header as it will change to and it might disappear in the header :)
Yes designing skins takes too long time and I'm glad that you like my work and I hope to see your designs here soon :)

yes. .it does. .but that doesnt bother me much. .it fits well with the style
I can change the rest to match. .

and I am having a little trouble
puting the vbpager in with it. .
it half works. . lol
I will get it tho. .

you can send but cannot reply
you can attempt to reply
but the box just pops back up
as if you just recieved it

it is only in that skin

but I do remember
the same problem on another forum
and only on one skin there as well

it may have to do with the navbar coding

no big deal

I will try to test this as soon as possible and I hope that I can find a solution.
Did you made the template changes needed when installing vbPager to this skin?

as far as the shout

if one user is on this skin
and anouther is not
the user on this skin can send a page
and recieve
but not reply

when replied
the mes pops back up as unread

if both users are on the same skin(this one)
it is not recieved when sent

I have adjusted the templates
as much as I can without screwing it up
(shifting of img's and such)

am I the only one with this issue. .?
and should I take this to the vbpager thread?

I can understand what happens. I will try to install vbPager on my test forum and same for cairo style and see how things go on, I don't if somebody else suffers the same problem or not as no body but you reported this problem, and not even for other skins I released so far (all my skins are designed the same way coding wise).
I will just need few days to see how things will be.
