Lovely! Thanks a lot! :)
|
I've fixed the install file.
|
What style is in the demo. I like the colors
|
How would I change this if I don't want to give the members the option of what color glow they get? I want it to be determined by their usergroup.
I tried editing it in the Username HTML Markup field when editing the usergroups, but it doesn't work. |

Set Editable by user: Yes to 'No' in field options. |
I thought of that - but how do I make the field dependant on usergroup?
|

Has this been updated to work for firefox? And is there a way to restrict it so only a certain membergroup has it?
|
No and No.
As this is a hack free modification it uses profile fields which cannot be restricted to certian member groups. The reason it does not work in firefox is due to the actual glow code, and not actually to do with the way in which this is written. |
Do you have any codes or ways I can change the color of an individual username?
|
If they are the only person in a usergroup then you can use username html markup, otherwise you can do it with conditionals.
Please note that this thread is only for the discussion of this modification. If you require assistance with anything else, please start a new thread in the most appropraite forum. |

What's conditionals? |
It only works in IE.
If you are not using IE, try viewing it in that. |
I've updated the install file. There was a typo in it.
|
There was a typo in the replacement instructions. It will either help or not, but I don't have IE7 so I can't debug on that.
Please also note this this modification is unsupported, and as such is way down the bottom of my priority list. |
it is not working for me either... It works if I use the "table style", but not if I use "span style".
However, in "table style", the text glows according to the default table color and I can't seem to change the colour of the text/glow with the custom fields. Is there a working version of this mod for 3.6.2? |
