What are Clickable User Fields

- Simple, I will give an example :)

As you can see they Words are now are linked, so making it easier to users to search for users with similar interest.

A really good idea! My 'interests field' is a tick box selection so the data in the fields are standard.

hack has been renamed so it makes more sense. Plus I tested it more, so no longer a beta. People can test it on older vbulletin versions and let me know if it works.

works great but it has a problem with mulptiple choice field. It shows all users even if the had not select anything...

after installed the hack i added some more profile fields but its not picking up those new fields. i have reinstalled the software but still its not working. What should i do? -- http://www.sikhbusiness.net

I don't like that it removes the comma.

ANyway to keep the comma?

Finally got around to installing this. What a beauty! Makes a real difference. I was using one that required file edits before, glad to be rid of it... This one is much more flexible too. Thanks. :)

I would like to use this hack not only on the member's page, but also on the memberslist.php.

How can I do this? Especially the select fields - the other's can be linked manually in the template, but for the select fields I can't get the key-number of the field...

any ideas?

Can this be customized so that it shows a number of profile fields from the user, plus give him the possibility of write something of his own to make it his "forum webpage"?

You need to go to the vbulletin options and select the new entry for this hack. Each new profile field needs to be entered in the list there of those to pick up.

So the user fields are clickable wherever they appear not just in User Profile.

-=Sniper=-, I just wanted to say THANXX for a Great MOD! I've been wanting to sort my Member List by an additional Profile Field (i.e. State/Country), but this MOD does it one better by only showing the results that match.(so you don't have to page thru unwanted results) S-w-e-e-t! :D

One question, I'm using this MOD with additional user profile fields I've added. Each of those fields have fixed choices a user can make, and are mandatory. This MOD works just fine with my Gender (Male, Female) and State/Country (TN,TX, etc), but it doesn't seem to work with my Age Group field. It's choices are like 30's-40's, 40's-50's, etc. Any reason it shouldn't work with a text/numeric field?

this one doesn´t work for me in 3.6.6 - can anybody confirm this?

There were changes to the member.php which is most likely causing the problem. And according to the title of the hack it's not compatible with 3.6.6

I will release a updated version very soon, perhaps even today.

this should be standard in 3.7 and 3.8 now as this is quite a good idea.
