Actually, he's running vBSEO, but he's not displaying the copyright line.

rogersnm 06-28-2006 07:20 PM

Thats what i said to him..

michaelbenson 06-28-2006 07:53 PM

It appears as though this user is running a nulled version.

waza 06-28-2006 07:56 PM

I don't think vbseo can be nulled, as it is zend encoded...

Yes, they are, and they have been reported up the chain.

oninuva 06-28-2006 09:05 PM

oninuva 06-28-2006 09:14 PM

o can we get him in trouble?

ConqSoft 06-28-2006 09:15 PM

As noted above, it has already been reported.

oninuva 06-28-2006 09:21 PM

WooT i hate that site... wats gonna happen to them? they gonna be taken down?

Blaine0002 06-29-2006 02:29 AM

Good luck, notice how his website is about World of warcraft hacks and exploits. I think he dosent care about getting in trouble for stuff like that.

Ntfu2 06-29-2006 02:41 AM

Serisously, whats going to happen, They are going to send letters, some emails blah blah, other than that not much

ConqSoft 06-29-2006 02:53 AM

It's usually handled by contacting the ISP, who in most cases will shut down the site if they are found to be doing anything illegal. (That's the way Jelsoft's piracy team does it.)

oninuva 06-29-2006 03:07 AM

thats cool... i hate those guys

DementedMindz 06-29-2006 03:09 AM

lol you can look in his archive and see its running SEO by vBSEO 2.4.0 but there is so many nulled version out its unreal..

Brandon Sheley 06-29-2006 03:17 AM

who wants to put $ down the vb isn't legit either :D

oninuva 06-29-2006 01:11 PM

i think the vb maybe... LoL but wheres he getting all the hacks then?

amykhar 06-29-2006 01:20 PM

I thought Jelsoft revoked licenses of people who have warez content in the forums? I wonder if using pirated hacks is included? Given how anti-piracy Jelsoft is, it would be nice if they did work this into their license agreement.

oninuva 06-29-2006 04:37 PM

Yes i agree...

letsjoy 07-03-2006 06:34 PM

lots of pplz are usings illegal vbseo

rogersnm 07-03-2006 06:38 PM

There are several sites which have hacks from vborg. It's just members getting the hacks and then posting htem on other sites, breaking vborg rules.

Brandon Sheley 07-03-2006 06:56 PM

I've seen a dozen sites that distribute vb hacks... just try google ?

one of my clients competitors has a full vb site, with photopost and extreemstyle skin, and fully hacked :( all priated..

nothing we can do, they have been reported but that was almost 2 1/2 months ago.. and they are still up..

Guest210212002 07-03-2006 07:01 PM

Searching usenet for vB yeilds tons of hacks, skins and pirated copies. It's unfortuante but hopefully Jelsoft has some luck contacting the ISP's of bootleg sites. I know that I'd lose my hosting if I was allowing pirate software. I'm sure that running a pirated version of a commercial forum software is damn similar.

Lizard King 07-03-2006 07:18 PM

People running this kind of sites are usually hosted at Russia , China and even vbulletin cannot do anything about it. I normally report any site i suspect but nothing happens usually.

Paul M 07-03-2006 07:30 PM

I'm not really sure what the purpose of this thread is anymore, it seems to have lost it's way long ago.

Bottom line, if you suspect a vb site is illegal then report it.
