We are in the process of changing the backend so as a result submissions and changes are very slow.

I submitted our forums 2+ months ago, when are you done with the changes?

Congrats on getting indexed on Big-Boards.com, I think. What I mean is, what is the big deal? I don't say that in a bad way, I am just wondering why someone would want to be listed there? What does it do for your forum? Does it bring traffic, or it is just to say that your part of a bulletin board portal? I don't really know, what the major attraction is to having you forum listed there?

Can someone give me the scoop on the whole - It's a great idea to be listed on Big-Boards.com idea.

Oh ya, also what are the qualifications to getting indexed?

You need at least 500,000 posts to qualify for being included in b-b.com.

A link at b-b.com is a high quality backlink (+PR4). You want (high quality) backlinks ;) since this helps to increase your Google PageRank.

Same here, getting verified/listed is apparently a long process. :)

Weird, we got automatically listed, just some day we were there. :O

COngrats. Mine is prolly like super small boards. I only had it for about 2 months and I have like 60+ registered users and 350+ uniqes monthly :(. Yeah im a suckky owner arnt I? :(

I've been waiting for at least 3 months to get listed. Nothing....I try to reapply and it says we are in the queue to get listed.

Give it time. They say a few weeks but they really mean a few months. I too waited months and just this week got listed finally. :)

Well after a gap of a couple of months the data got switched back on:

So all is well from our perspective but it seems like you just have to be patient.
