Help Me?
Okay, I was wondering how I can get the box that is under the nav bar and the little gray piece on the thead fixed. I don't want the box under the nav bar there anymore, and I want the gray to be back blue like the thead column. help anyone?
here is a picture of my problem: http://img205.imageshack.us/img205/2628/bluefix4ns.png thanks, brian EDIT: I found out how to fix the gray part, I just need help on the box under the nav bar. |
I would look for an additional <tr></tr> pairing between the HOW DO I REMOVE THIS section and the cell at the bottom of the table and remove it. ON the bottom image, that is a column span count.
Or -- post the template section where this is and we can take a look. |
what do you mean by posting the template section. like a cap of my WHOLE forum???
|
No. :)
This section is either in the FORUMHOME or navbar template, no? Just post the section where you have marked the HOW DO I REMOVE THIS table. |
okay, here is the FORUMHOME template code:
Code:
$stylevar[htmldoctype] and here is the navbar template: Code:
<script type="text/javascript"> |
it will be in your forumhome_forumbit_level1_nopost template with the style that you are using.
|
okay, kerry anne, I did what you said and I removed part of it. Now this is what it looks like:
http://img75.imageshack.us/img75/6904/cap173yh.png and this is the code that I have now on the forumhome_forumbit_level1_nopost template: Code:
<if condition="$forum[forumid] == 9"> |
1 Attachment(s)
I think I see the issue -- it looks like your backgroud image is repeating.
|
okay, so what do i do to correct it being repeated??? thanks!

Try replacing it with this one and see if that helps.
|
okay, where do I place the new background at? like what template?
|
Ok, to remove the box shown and just leave the stats and login box as plain text boxes, replace your entire navbar template with
Code:
<script type="text/javascript"> To make the grey section behind the category titles narrower (to fit your short category names better) Replace your forumhome_forumbit_level1_nopost template with this Code:
<if condition="$forum[forumid] == 9"> |

If you'll pardon the Off Topic question, I would be interested to learn the name of the Style you are using. I like the rounded corners. Or is it one you made from scratch?
Regards, |
I got it from vbstyles.com.
okay, one more question? How do I place my own banner on there so that it won't mess up my theme. Like it has a nav_bg and when i place the banner url on it....it looks messed up? Know how to do this??? |
