A Good Photo Gallery?
I used to use vBAdvanced Gallery until they had problems with Photopost. Photopost is really nice but I don't really have that kind of money on me right now. I'm looking for an alternative to use which is integrated into my forum and user db. Can anybody give me some suggestions?

As far as I know photopost is supposedly working on upgrading vBGallery so it works with 3.6.
|
I think he wants to avoid Photopost/vBGallery as both costs money.
|
But from what he said he has a licence for vBGallery already ;)
|
how about www.photoplog.com ? I am wanting to move over from vbGallery but no import script yet :(
|
O. Was vBGallery always a paid hack?

Might aswell ask my question here, in stead of starting a new thread:
I am also looking for a photo album for my vb site. All I need is an album that uses the usergroup permissions (so I can permit groups to upload photos or not). Also I would like to be able to upload multiple pictures and to categorise them. Being able to reply to pictures would be a nice extra. I do not want users to have their own album, or a lot of more blingbling that confuse my young board readers. Does anybody know of a good free (or very low cost) vb-album that will do this? I just tried Photoplog, but it cannot upload multiple pictures. Cheers |
Photopost vBGallery or regular Photopost Pro, may be a bit costly, but sure as well worth it :)
|
Maybe the solution is to help with any problem you are experiencing with the vBGallery? You already have the product, is there a need to change or just a desire?

Photopost Pro is probably the best gallery software i've used to date. But its sorta pricey.
Check out vBPicGallery by noppid, its nice, easy to use, and is a basic script that uses vBulletins usergroup permissions ;) |

Yes, and it's a peice of Sh_T. I wish I would have used Photopost, but I bought vBa Gallery right before they sold out. I would upgrade it, but I have custom codes all over the place in it.

Don't buy photopost, it's big shit
Everythig worked fine before, this year i paid 39$ yes for the opdate only. I installed and my cmps gallery was gone, there is no hack available. I purshased vbgallery because it worked all fine before but know photopost took it over it's one mess. ok you get support but you click from one to another link and after hours of searching you suddenly get back to where you begone. i regret i paid for that update, for that money (only update) i would probable get a descent gallery without errors . |
